Amazing game!

I really liked the static cameras combined with the 2.5D movement and pixel art. Very beautiful visually, and I really liked the story as well. Well done!

Amazing game, really well made and thought out. Mechanics were intuitive to pick up and I really liked the multiple stages each enemy had, made it really fun to play.

So great! I love the camera work, the combat system, the lamp feels so nice and intuitive to use. The combats are a bit long for my taste, specially considering you can insta-die and have to repeat from the beggining, and there. I want to praise the music and sound, it really made the experience shine.

I loved this experience, it had a lot of surprises, exciting moments, and little flourishes. I would have enjoyed the audio more if it blended between the different rooms more. Regardless, the combat was excellent and the pacing perfect.

Super fun to play. Does fixed camera extremely well.

This game rocks! i love the art and the fixed camera angles, the fight encounters are very creative and fun, although i got stuck on the fight with the invisble enemies as they sometimes didnt seem to take damage from the lantern.

Really sweet! Everything felt very well paced, the fights were fun, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Keeping your direction locked when you change camera angles is perfect too, great work!

Had a great time playing. The boss battles were tricky but easy to get the hang of and pretty fun. We would certainly love to play a sequel to see where the story is going.

You are an impressive creator! :D I not only enjoyed the game, but I also appreciated your artistic approach to the game's concept. The bosses operate within a really cool dynamic, and hit box + pacing was excellent. I thought there might have one end something missing, but you confirmed that it’s just a single ending, so at least within the scope of this jam, it was great because it’s a very well-structured experience. Thank you for sharing, and I’ll be sure to play all your other games soon!

This is great! The artstyle is stylish and the combat mechanics are simple yet versatile. The use of fixed camera makes every scene more cinematic. Awesome job!

I didn't have anything I could really nit pick!

I love that you had it so that you keep moving the direction you're moving in between screens

The scenes and art are really really pretty and ominous

I feel like the usages of the lantern are also nicely introduced!

I had a really easy time with telling where I was in relation to depth in all of the fights which made them feel fair and I also like the variety in the enemies!

This game is so so cool!

I managed to finish it! I was wondering if there were any alternative endings?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing :)

There aren't any alternative endings. I felt it was best to just focus on one ending to keep the game feeling mostly conclusive
