Love the art style and this whole project is oozing personality from the audio to the humor to the watercolor background. Sure, the gameplay can be a bit finnicky, but that's what happens when we have 48 hr! Great stuff

Great game, great audio, great graphics, great gameplay, smooth and not buggy, whish there was more progression instead of the repeating stale gameplay but otherwise GREAT
Nice artstyle and original premise, but I had no idea how to get spice. Walked around the whole garden and didnt find any, destroyed a bunch of cabbage, still nothing. One of my cucumbers died and nothing. It would have been better is the spice was an item you had to look for in the garden, or maybe just the first piece of spice, and the DR would tell you how to get more spice if you got that one piece.
For anyone else looking for the spices, try in the bushes to the right.
Bushes need to be cleared away in order to harvest materials. So you start off with some spice and salt - enough to make a few pickles to ensure your survival, and then finding more materials from under the bushes suddenly becomes more important.
Good audio and visuals, completed the game, gameplay is a bit repetitive and map is unfinished, but i enjoyed the game, nice job!
Interesting idea and awesome art. The music and sounds are very good. I didn’t immediately understand where exactly to look for spices, so many cucumbers rotted.
As others have said a better camera control would be great. The artstyle and the little phrases of the characters really give it a nice charm. Overall not a bad game. Also the idea is so cool.
I love the art! It has so much character. Really, the game's presentation is top-notch. I had an issue where one of my pickles got stuck collecting spices and couldn't leave, but I had enough others that it didn't really cause a problem. I wasn't sure how to find spices and salt at first, so I had to sacrifice a few runs to just exploring. After I saved all of the cucumbers (that weren't lost), I clicked the RESTART button, but I still had all of my pickles. Not sure if that's an intentional new game + or a bug.
Also, Godot FTW!
Manual camera control needs to be in a game like this and gameplay was too slow for my liking, but I really like the idea and setting. Bonus points for the humour and gameplay revolving around the pickling process lol. Loved the audio design and all the responses the pickles gave, having the pop up with the dialogue explaining everything was good too. Got stuck trying to find spice for a while I couldn’t see it anywhere on my screen, but a good entry nice stuff.
Interesting idea, beautiful stylized graphics and sounds, but it would still be more convenient with free movement of the camera
Spicy Science, smart and yummy. I love the voices! Had trouble with some of the conrolls like the click and drag (I kept clicking) If I was able to switch the view to the active pickle I wanted to click on things that were outside of the view but next to the pickle. Thank you for this work of art, honestly love the art style.
Won the game.
Cool idalogue, it was prety hard to find the spices for me, so I was trying to scout the map, which was prety anoying with your camera :3. Otherwise a cool game, liked the art. There was a bug where a pickle got stuck behind the jar (I could not select it) and it is super anoying that when you deselect your pickle it will still have it selected (when youn click it sends gives the command to the last selected pickle) Also, the scroll wheel gives command, which was anoying, because I tried reflexively to zoom out and then I would accidently give commands. . >///>
