I loved this game! I think you could add some path choices and that would be great.

Also, I feel like the UX for rolling and choosing to roll again or move could be polished a bit more (I'm not sure how, but I found myself doubting about the buttons and making errors a few times).

But once again: congrats, it's awesome!

i quite enjoyed playing the game the graphics were quite different but in a good way i also thought the game was fun however a bit confusing at first. But it was still a fun game!

Good job, very nice rolling dice game !

It is rare to see a snakes and ladder / table top game like this on the game jam and this truly has a lot of potentials. I believe the graphical elements and UI are a bit too simple that down-grades the experience. For example, if the route is something more than a straight line, it would make the game a lot more fun to look at.

I liked the strategy element that had the easy to play hard to master type of game to optimize resources. I liked the squids alien sprites.

Pros:

  • Fun strategy element
  • Cute graphics

Improvements:

  • Better contrast on UI graphics would make it easier to see your resources.

Nice unique idea, one of a kind

+ Unique game play

+ Sounds are good

- Graphics and UI needs improvement

- its better to provide windows build too, sometimes webgl doesn't work

keep up the good work

Original idea. I enjoyed playing this game.

At some point I think I had some bug: I stopped three times at the same merchant (by arriving first on the first spot of the merchant, then by rolling 1 twice) and then the game was stuck, I could no longer do anything.

Awesome awesome awesome idea. I could easily get lost in this idea if it was fleshed out more.

Developer

Thank you! It was a blast to work on!

It was interesting. I didn't understand what came out of the chests tho...

Developer

Gold! I didn't have time to add that feedback in the game =(

Interesting idea! It felt a bit unbalanced, but nonetheless enjoyable.

Is it possible to interact with the chest, when an enemy is defeated?

Developer

No the chest was just a symbol that you received gold from killing the mob, didn't have time to add feedback there. Thank you though!

Fun take on this genre! You has some gorgeous graphics in the title screen, I wish the art style had been a bit more consistent but gameplay wise you've definitely met your goal and got me my coffee c:

Developer

Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for playing!!
