Solid game, the controls were perfect and it was so simple to pick up. Fantastic game jam game! How did you implement save slots?

Hallo,

Thank you for sharing your game.  I’ve already saved its RATING;

1. verified: GAME due to observed in SUBMISSIONS List; adds: GAME playable using web browser;

2. observed: noticeable pixel drawing techniques; remembers: after reaching the following part, Spiderman vs Mysterio game (PC) loaded from diskette/s; adds: noticeable JUMP animation with position movement to signify HEAVY WEIGHT;

3. observed: noticeable background music and sound effects techniques;

4. verified: GAMEPLAY to be of obtaining all the missing “gubbins” items via among others: running, jumping, climbing; remembers: Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) using the SHIFT COMMAND to display the path to the location of the items;

5. observed: self did NOT ask the objective of the GAME while searching for the missing “gubbins”, in contrast to another GAME OFF 2022 Entry, “Abandon the ship!” due to noticeable difficulty; remembers: “Neon Square: Resurgence” Entry, albeit this GAME does NOT noticeably cause the PLAYER to continuously use combinations of COMMANDS, e.g. JUMP, FORWARD MOVEMENT, with CORRECT TIMING to reach the target destination;

6. notes: CONTROLS to use the keyboard arrow keys, instead of A for LEFT and D for RIGHT movements, et cetera;

7. finished: GAME to receive “You won :)”;

8. re-read: GAME webpage; observed: self opted to PLAY GAME first, after verifying the CONTROL instructions and the noticeable text with the explanation; notes: during the second reading, “I want to write a blog posty thing on here…but would you read it?”

Thank you. Health!

Nice entry, interesting the variety of biomes each with its own background sounds and environment. Amazing what can be done with "so little". The platforming is easy but enough to be satisfying, like the controls. A great game, overall! Congrats!

beautiful graphics, it gives a certain vibe with the whole environment. The controls are great along with the climbing mechanics. pleasant experience!

Absolutely amazing. Nice graphics with attention to details. I loved how the ambient sound changed based on biome. At first I found the emptiness a bit dull but by the end I enjoyed the loneliness. Well done!

It's a really cute game! I love the desolate ambiance, and I love the cave exploration. The controls are really well-polished, and the variety of environments is really cool - you put a lot of time into this!

My one question is what this has to do with the theme... I'm sure the game takes a lot of inspiration from Knytt (although I've never played it), but overall nothing about the game seemed cliche... unless you're banking on big open worlds, collectable items, and waypoints being video game cliches?

Nice little platformer game.
I do think the wall hug is a bit too sticky. After jumping down a hole and finding nothing there, it was a real pain climbing back up again.

GG!

Nice game, all of its parts feel simple but work very well together. The controls also feel really good!

Dont know the original Knytt game but this was interesting despite having no enemies or obsicles - just running around and exploring.
While running found a bunch of glowing cubes that did something I don't know. I wonder if you had more content in mind.

Great game! Initally I was left a bit dubious, not sure what to do.

After I understood what the tracker module did I got hooked.

You really nailed the ambiance, I liked the feeling of being that small thing confronted with the immensity of this planet with all its enigmatic environment. I am particularly sensitive to the sounds and while there is no music the sound effects do a great job of conveying the ambiance.

The game is good for just relaxing. Just walk around and collect gems.

The map is large and with different landscapes, very interesting, but I did not immediately understand how to get through the pink mushrooms and stood between them for several minutes, thinking how to get out.

I really like the animation of the characters, I don’t know why it hooked me, but it’s cool. I also like the small animals in the game, like the turtle or the dark ball. The sounds are very pleasing to the ear.

 Great job)

I like the sounds a lot, especially when the character walks. The game graphics reminds me of lemmings, they are simple yet well made. I liked the grounds patterns as well as the background ones.

I found a little "ball" violet character that is really cute and I went on to reach him.

Sometimes when you're not in the "caverns" it might be a little too essential but overall it's really well made.

I really really liked how you gave the opportunity to track the gubbins and yet made them challenging to reach, that's no easy task.

The only negative aspect is that I found it difficult to understand the clichès in the game, that is before reading the infos under the game.

Overall I had a great time and the game was fun!
