I didn’t really understand this before I read the instructions, but I got pretty hooked once I got the hang of it :D
I’m curious, why would you ever choose to skip taking points? And is there a good reason to not just pick the most numerous color?
I really liked the game :) awesome sounds and visuals, and an interesting design to boot!
In some situations, you'd choose to skip taking points to maximise score on the next round. For example, if you've got "+100", "/100" and "-10", it'd be a good idea to follow this sequence: "+100" (all numbers go red), "skip", "/100" (all numbers go yellow), "yellow". This will clear all yellow numbers (4 points each) and you'll get a x3 multiplier.

Big Fan Of Pico-8. The theme interpretation is chef kiss. Graphic readability is unquestionable. The only critic I can say is the gameplay. I believe not many of us would understand how the game works due to lack of our math skill and skipping the instruction in description. Most of random player would do these mistakes and ended up thinking the game is too difficult or so and stop playing. But overall I Love it!

Very very cool game!
It's simple, but really makes you think and plan about your next step. The fact that the transformation are random is a little frustrating at time, I really wish I could plan a little more in advance and make some sick combos. Not sure if there could be a better way to present them... a card system of some sort maybe?
Anyway, super cool idea! Got a high score in the 1440!

very good game! Played a lot in one sitting, I like the mechanics, and the realistic scope. Bit hard to understand at first but I got into it after a few rounds :)
