I'm not sure why I had such a hard time with this game. Sometimes it seems like the card didn't show - it was behind other elements or something, because if I moused over where card had been drawn before it would show me a meaning card. I couldn't tell what was getting revealed fate or real meaning.
The graphics are fun - some really cool rendering. I bet you could do a lot with what you have here.
Thank you for the feedback! I've received many technical issues complaints from browsers on windows for some reason, it's most likely also connected to godot resources' shenanigans. but nether encountered it on any other systems, which is puzzling
I really loved the art style, especially the designs of the characters with different planetary heads.
It’s great to see another Papers, Please-inspired game make it into this entry. Cheers!
Unique Game style and beautiful idea
The game looks pretty good
Keep going
Man I know you already have a lot of comments about the art but I cannot help gush over it! It looks I just got into a medieval manuscript. The music with its rising tension to give the player goosebumps just blends so well. The gameplay though seemingly simple innovates on the "Paper please" by giving out the Tarot cards for us to interpret which I personally feel is so creative.
The art is amazing!god, I paid a huge price for my wrong judgment!thank you for your creation
omg 5 stars for me!! I love this so much. I love the art and the music and the atmosphere. Please what a beautiful piece of art!! <3
I enjoyed the theme interpretation and the audio, good work
I really enjoyed the concept and execution. The visual style is fantastic, reminiscent of a sinister Victorian motif, much like Fear and Hunger. The musical composition also adds to the tension perfectly. My only suggestion would be that this project could greatly benefit from an introduction (even just in text form). With visuals and narrative of this quality, it truly deserves an introductory "cutscene"
Thank you for the kind words! Intro cutscene was our №1 priority before release, but we just ran out of time. Fun fact, metamorphosis from day 3 were inspired from f&h 2 termina :)
Got a distinct "Paper's please" vibe. A very interesting interpretation. I did get softlocked once after day 2, where I drew a card on a masked person who I usually indiscriminately let in to the king, and it made the next person invisible and I couldn't click through. Went back though and didn't find the problem again. I think that one of the best parts is the character artwork. That charcoal/ink look that's really hard to pull off. Oh, and I hope I never live under a system of governance that relies on Tarot haha. Thanks for the plays!
I second this. on day 2, I let in all the masked people into the king's chamber and it softlocked and made the next character invisible.
I like the game concept but I think I broke it, after day 3 people just stopped talking and it went on forever until day 8 where everything stopped working. The graphics and theme are impressive but there is definitely a lack of variety or consequence depending on your choices
Thank you for your feedback. After 3rd day there's supposed to be an ending, that depends on your choices in day 1-3. For some reason sometimes it justs doesn't show the ending and go on endlessly, sorry bout that
I really enjoyed this mix of themes and mechanics, the masked people are mysteriously captivating and the Day 3 artwork really pulls the entire vibe together. Did a couple playthroughs for different endings, overall excellent work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed
