The "guessing the mechanic" looks kinda fun tho.
The audio and the BGM also fits the art as well.
If only there animation to the firefly it would be much better

Wew I got all the jars lit on my second try. I really loved the peaceful environment and vibes. The retro sound effects are perfect.
I enjoy playing the game it has addictive qualities. It took a little bit to figure out how to play but once I did I still wasn't that good I couldn't light more than 3 jars in the timer, but addictive cause I know I could if I practiced more. I think they are always in the same place though so once I figured that out it may be less fun so randomizing it would be even better. All in all great work =)
I like the idea, but I’m not sure if I’m playing the game correctly. I go around and attract other flies, but I don’t know how to put them in a jar. The music fits the style, and I feel like I’m in France or Italy. Good job. (Enabling “wasd” for movement would help with the controls since we’re using a keyboard and mouse for navigation.)
EDIT: I was able to put them in jars after I found them, haha.
A fun game! I really liked the how the art style and the music went really well together and created a solid atmosphere. Nice work!
The game is nice ! I have the impression that we can’t recharge the firefly with light before it goes out, which made my preventive back-and-forth trips useless, so I couldnt do more than 3 jars.
Well done !
Took me a minute to figure out the jars are down along the ground, but after that didn't have trouble figuring out the rest. I would've really appreciated some sort of steering behavior or randomized following for the fireflies so the wouldn't all stack up and I could see a cloud of fireflies following me.
I LOVE the music. Did you make it by yourself or is it an asset?
Unfortunatley we are not musicians and, at the moment, in the team (we are only two, artist and programmer) there's no one who deals with music. We tried diffrent assets musics but nothing matches with the atmosohear so we decide to try Suno.ai and that's the result.
Thank you for the time you spend trying the game, means a lot!
Really loved the game! Very creative and challenging. Good job!
Nice relaxing game entry!
Once I figured out the controls (I tried for the longest with touch/mouse controls to no avail!), I had a good time flying around collecting other fireflies and finding jars.
Cool concept for a casual game!
I’m truly captivated by the concept and your execution of the theme. Outstanding work!
This game is so charming!
I really liked flying around collecting the fireflies. Very neat concept.
The art and music are very atmospheric and enjoyable, and it's fun to play, very much like this game!
Love the look of this game! A clever idea too! I had some trouble getting the smaller lightning bugs to keep following me. I was also a bit confused at first. I thought seeing one of the jars you want to fill when you first spawn might be helpful. Also a meter for how much light you still have on your character could be cool. Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much for the feedbacks! We tried to work in some of the things you pointed out but the time was running out and we decide to do whatever it takes to go out with at least a game that works in the basics.
We tried to spawn the player around the jars but, in the few tests we make, we found it confusing as well because testers (family members LOL) dosen't understand the light up mechanic if they spawn away from the lamplights. Maybe a little map or an interface element pointing to the jars can fix this problem.
The meter is a very good idea that we did'nt think of!
We'll consider it, thanks again!
