nice game!
I liked how its all looked finished and polished, great job!

btw if you can play the game that I made and give me some feedback I really appreciate it :)

Sure thing! If I have time after work today I will try to remember!

Couldn't understand what to do, but found the concept and the idea very cool. I know it would be complicated to develop an AI for this, but could be cool and a good learning experience!

I didnt really get all of the mechanics and game modes working while i tried it but i see what is going on and really like what you did. I am not sure if there were any eggs when i was on the search mode as i couldnt find any but either way i really like this. Well done. I tried it out on my livestream tonight if you wanted to see the replay for feedback here it is

Congratulations on making a multiplayer game for the jam!

Although the controls may not be the most intuitive, I think left click for laying/picking up eggs would be better and had to scroll through the comments to learn that it is actually E. Anyway, well done!

This!

Also, this would do very well if the input processing was tuned for game-pad controllers, so one thumb-stick for movement (as is the default already) and the other for turning around, with action buttons to pick up (or place) eggs.

I somehow missed a full-screen mode, though.

And with high mouse-sensivity, looking down and then turning could get quite dizzying.

Nice and relaxing game to play. Well done

Amazing idea, to have async multiplayer game and for sure it couldn't be too easy to make!

As a hider it felt good, loads of options of fun traps and the like.

As a seeker I feel there could be some more mechanics, just walking and searching felt a bit tiring after 3 of 6 minutes. Maybe making the area smaller and adding a small interesting places to hide eggs like tall grass you can walk through or bushes. And maybe some kind of egg compass to make it just a bit easier for the seeker.

Visuals felt fine, made sense. Music was pretty good very soothing.

Overall very cool idea!

What a cool and unique game loop! well done!

Was a nice little game.

This is a really cool idea for a game!  I found the look around controls on the mouse a little too fast so it was hard to look at the eggs to pick them up. Could just be me though. :) Hope you continue to work on this one. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks! You can change the mouse speed in the options. I hope that helps.

Good to know! Thank you. :)

Impressive. You made the 3d movement really fast.  Perhaps too fast in the up-down direction. Couldn't figure out how to place down the egg.

Hey great game, I loved the arts and enjoyed the sound effects in the game and the game page :)
I faced the same issue with WebGL, it appears only a black screen, but after waiting a couple of minutes I was able to play it and really enjoy it. I only have feedback about the controls, I wasn't sure how to hide and seek eggs and press all the keys (hopefully was the E key the one), but it would be nice there is more information about the controls and all the player's abilities (also noted you can jump, nice).

I really like the multiplayer part, even if I ain't understand how it works xD very nice idea for easter egg hunting :)

Cute idea, love the music, very calming.
Might be good to have a getting warmer/colder condition, that helps you get closer to where some of the eggs are hidden.
Well done though :).

Very creative idea! Unfortunately I didn't find anyone while playing.

I think the look of the ground and barriers could also follow the low poly aesthetic of the trees.

I think the problem for everyone is the gameplay because its online right? haha
I love the styles, sound, thats amazing!

Bug: i can drop my items under ground hahah

Wow you did a 3D multiplayer game, that's awesome. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone to play with. I would love some more visuals like bushes and flowers.

Good job.

I had a hard time with the mouse sensitivity being too high. I tried turning it down in the options menu, but I was only able to look at the sky and grass. Love the grass texture, btw. :)

Developer

Strange. I will look into it!

Developer

It should be fixed! Thanks for letting me know it was happening. :)

This game looks beautiful. I'm not sure the gameplay works out as well as the idea  sounds though. Do seekers randomly get assigned a hider's level? There's not a way for me to know if my level did anything to anyone else, so it just feels meh. I'll come back and try this out in a few days and hopefully more folks have made maps

Developer

Yup, the seekers do get randomly assigned a hiders level. You do get to see the metrics for your level once people play it. I do know what you mean on the "meh" aspect. I couldn't come up with anything else that I felt fit the theme. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

"meh" as in underwhelming. There's not incentive for creative hiders or anything is all. it's a unique take on the theme though! You did well! :)
