Simple and effective. Well done

Developer

Thank you!

It is a challenging game. For some reason, the screen keeps going down after the jump.

Developer

Thanks for playing! that's interesting, I didn't notice that in testing, maybe a side effect of it being in the browser.

Submitted

Great backgrounds, unfortunately too hard for me, at least in the browser.

Developer

Thanks for playing, yes its quite a challenge, maybe easier on desktop though.

This is very cool. Of the 3D games I've played, this is the most responsive and enjoyable. The random element was very impressive for the timeframe. My only major complaint is I wish I had better feedback when I took a hit/lost health. As it is, I was losing health without realizing it right away. Overall, very nicely done.

Developer

Thank you very much! and yes I think a sound for when you got hit or something on screen would be a good addition.

nice running game, I enjoyed myself and tried to score higher and higher

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Love this. I want to start of by saying the player movement is great. It's not perfect, but it wasn't too slow or too fast and gravity feels about right. The music choice is quite fitting for this style of game too. I would also like to say great job on your lava shader. I have one in my game but your one looks a lot better than mine. But overall your game was pretty fun and I enjoyed this.

Something I noticed was, the player looks like they gain points by jumping and not by landing on a platform so I can spam the jump button multiple times on the same platform and gain a couple of points without moving.

Also, a great addition you could add is a high score system. This would encourage the player to carry on playing so they can beat there personal high score.

Great Job.

Developer

Thank you! and thanks for the feedback, I had not noticed that you could gain points by jumping in the air. A high score system is also a good idea!

This is addicting. Good job.

Developer

Thanks!

The art was great and the gameplay was fun. I do agree with some of the people that the traps were a bit hard to see though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and glad it was fun :)

Cool as Hell. Lol, pretty hard but enjoyable definitely has an addictive "one more time!" vibe. Reminds me a bit of Cluster Truck and that's a good thing!

Developer

Thank you, this is good to hear, as I was going for addicting :)

All I can say is that I love games like these! I don't feel like it fits with the theme too well nor that it has a story really, but the aesthetics and just the gameplay, love it! Had a lot of fun! Thanks for your submission!

Thank you for the feedback. It is my first ever game jam, I hope to improve a lot for next year :)

the game has really smooth control.  i liked it. but its hard to see to some traps that on the boards. environment is looking nice. and you successed it in 10 days its amazing. congrats for you submission

Developer

Thank you so much, and for the feedback :)

I think you have a good solid game here. Everything was well polished and just difficult enough to make it addicting. Nice job.

Developer

Thank you, I did a lot of testing myself, and glad it payed off :)

Well done, as others mentioned it was a little tough to see the traps, as they were a dark color against a dark color.

I think having larger traps would have helped as well, as I found I could run between them without getting hit pretty easily.

I was also thinking the platforms could be separated from each other. (The ones side by side, so you have to jump left and right as well to avoid traps.

Overall, good job.

Some good ideas there, thanks for playing :)

It was a pleasure for me to test the game. It was really fun and harder than it looked at the beginning. Good job! My best score was 680 and I really loved it. Thank you!

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad it was fun :)

Very nice! I love the atmosphere that the adventurous music and fiery hellscape create. I like the combination of hazards you've created (especially that the platforms tip!), and that the positions/heights of the platforms seem to be randomised.

I did something slightly similar in one of my previous game jam entries, "Watch Your Step", except it was 2D, and the platforms got spaced out farther and farther as the player went on (but the player can grow a bunch of long legs to try to compensate), and I didn't add any hazards other than the platforms collapsing. Also, your graphics are waaay more immersive than mine were, and you gave the player a lot more control than I did. :D

My best score was 560, I kept timing my jumps either too early or too late, and missing the platforms. :') So I didn't actually run out of health because I didn't survive long enough to!

It's also nice to see a Unity game running completely in-browser! I need to learn how to do that sometime. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks :) I'll be sure to check out your game too. And yes making a WebGL build of your game is pretty easy, and it's great to have it run in the browser.

Submitted(+1)

You're welcome, and thank you! :) Yeah, WebGL builds are a lot more convenient for players, so next time I do a project in Unity, I'll see if I can figure out making one.

Cool game! everything was working, like the art work with the whole hellish level looking.

I did found an exploit, if you just stay in the middle you can avoid all traps and you wont fall down unless you miss a jump

Still cool game keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and the feedback :)

Very good aestethic and music which is coherent with the urge to move from one platform to another, sometimes a little bit difficult to spot the obstacles on other platforms

Submitted

Nice game, I enjoy the higher quality textures, and the wave motion of the platforms, I did find the traps a little hard to see when jumping into them though, maybe some additional lighting from the top of the platforms would be beneficial? Nice game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for your feedback :)

Submitted

I love the aesthetics :)

Developer

Thanks :)

Submitted

i love the concept though the jumping feels a bit to floaty and the movement not responsive enough.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :) I was thinking that myself as well, do you mean the jump height or the gravity might be too high?

Submitted

personally yeah the jump height. I also feel that you could maybe increase the mouse sensitivity to make it more responsive

Developer(+1)

Thanks.  just out of curiosity did you figure out that the platforms can tilt depending on where you stand on them to achieve higher jumps? I was worried that I didn't explain that to the player, but thought people might find it by playing.
