It is a challenging game. For some reason, the screen keeps going down after the jump.
This is very cool. Of the 3D games I've played, this is the most responsive and enjoyable. The random element was very impressive for the timeframe. My only major complaint is I wish I had better feedback when I took a hit/lost health. As it is, I was losing health without realizing it right away. Overall, very nicely done.
Love this. I want to start of by saying the player movement is great. It's not perfect, but it wasn't too slow or too fast and gravity feels about right. The music choice is quite fitting for this style of game too. I would also like to say great job on your lava shader. I have one in my game but your one looks a lot better than mine. But overall your game was pretty fun and I enjoyed this.
Something I noticed was, the player looks like they gain points by jumping and not by landing on a platform so I can spam the jump button multiple times on the same platform and gain a couple of points without moving.
Also, a great addition you could add is a high score system. This would encourage the player to carry on playing so they can beat there personal high score.
Great Job.
The art was great and the gameplay was fun. I do agree with some of the people that the traps were a bit hard to see though.
All I can say is that I love games like these! I don't feel like it fits with the theme too well nor that it has a story really, but the aesthetics and just the gameplay, love it! Had a lot of fun! Thanks for your submission!
I think you have a good solid game here. Everything was well polished and just difficult enough to make it addicting. Nice job.
Well done, as others mentioned it was a little tough to see the traps, as they were a dark color against a dark color.
I think having larger traps would have helped as well, as I found I could run between them without getting hit pretty easily.
I was also thinking the platforms could be separated from each other. (The ones side by side, so you have to jump left and right as well to avoid traps.
Overall, good job.
It was a pleasure for me to test the game. It was really fun and harder than it looked at the beginning. Good job! My best score was 680 and I really loved it. Thank you!
Very nice! I love the atmosphere that the adventurous music and fiery hellscape create. I like the combination of hazards you've created (especially that the platforms tip!), and that the positions/heights of the platforms seem to be randomised.
I did something slightly similar in one of my previous game jam entries, "Watch Your Step", except it was 2D, and the platforms got spaced out farther and farther as the player went on (but the player can grow a bunch of long legs to try to compensate), and I didn't add any hazards other than the platforms collapsing. Also, your graphics are waaay more immersive than mine were, and you gave the player a lot more control than I did. :D
My best score was 560, I kept timing my jumps either too early or too late, and missing the platforms. :') So I didn't actually run out of health because I didn't survive long enough to!
It's also nice to see a Unity game running completely in-browser! I need to learn how to do that sometime. Well done!
Cool game! everything was working, like the art work with the whole hellish level looking.
I did found an exploit, if you just stay in the middle you can avoid all traps and you wont fall down unless you miss a jump
Still cool game keep it up!
Very good aestethic and music which is coherent with the urge to move from one platform to another, sometimes a little bit difficult to spot the obstacles on other platforms
i love the concept though the jumping feels a bit to floaty and the movement not responsive enough.
