This is a great! I really liked the puzzles and the humor in it as well. I think there was a perfect mix of platforming alongside the puzzle gameplay. Great work with this!

Cool puzzles! I liked the one forcing the player to use chain reaction explosions

Very cute and creative.  Love the bad puns

Awesome level design, some of them were challenging and forced you to think. I had a good time playing, good job!

hey,

very good and cute gameart! Love the pixelart a lot.

The game was very fun and i had a very good time while playing it.

a very good entry to the jam !

You put together some cool scenarios to use the abilities you created. In particular I liked the part where you had to cause a chain reaction of shadow explosions to destroy some crates to proceed. Awesome job!

Congrats on completing the jam! I liked your take on not only leaving bodies behind but also exploding them! I found the SFX very loud - a volume slider would be an amazing addition.

Developer

Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the game.
As for the volume slider, I will add it after the game jam ends, could not finish that in time. I am planning in making some UI adjustment and bug fixes but nothing major.

Nice game. The WebGL sometimes didn't let me do the jump after walking over the edge. But good work overall. The propeller platforms I think could be a bit slower on the drop.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah, thanks for the feed back. I will add a delay on the drop after the game jam ends. And as for the webgl issue, I am not sure about that, I never had that one before. Actually, the game will only let you jump after dropping from the platform if you jump within a fraction of seconds which is an intended feature so it might not be a webgl issue.

This is a very polished game. The graphics are nice. The controller for the player character feels real nice. The mechanics work very well. Great Job.

Really interesting puzzles!

Submitted(+1)

Oh man, I loved  how you used the explosions to make some really interesting puzzles! And the overall atmosphere of the game was really charming! Well done!

Developer

Thanks man. We have similar gameplay concepts, :D . I am glad you enjoyed the puzzles.

Submitted(+1)

Yes we do. I've seen a few games like this on the jam. It's cool noticing how we all implement the same concept in different ways to the point that the games feel unique.

Congratulations! Really nice and complex game! Although, sometimes I had issues with getting stuck because of my shadow, but at least you can start over the level :) Floating platforms fall a little too fast and I did not manage to find a way to solve the level with the simultaneously moving cubes and the shortcut (really nice idea btw) in the middle.

Developer(+1)

I am glad that you enjoyed it. I probably should have made a shortcut button like R to restart level as sometimes you might get stuck in the puzzle parts or moving walls. Oh and I will add a timer next time for the floating platforms after player steps on it.
As for that level, you can solve it by having your clone step on the button and hit the clone to make it explode after a few seconds, during that time you will need to move fast to proceed through those moving cubes. Thanks for the feed back, I appreciate it.

Well done. The game had a great feel to it and lots of interesting mechanics!

works well, great SFX and great artwork.

Love this puzzle/platform game! The aesthetics and music work wonderfully together. You have put together a wonderful little gem in a short amount of time, well done!

Submitted(+1)

Awesome! Very smart puzzles! Loved the shortcuts and the timed explosions!

Please play and rate my game too, if you find the time :)

Developer

Will do. No worries.
And I am glad that you enjoyed the puzzles.

Very polished for a game jam game. Also very nice way of integrating the theme, something I totally did NOT manage to integrate in my game. I managed to beat the helicopter stage on my 2nd try but it was very frantic, I kinda loved that level.

Nice sound effect and that's an amazing dialogue system implemented

Developer

Thanks, I made the dialogue system but the sfx ,art and music are borrowed free assets.

Submitted(+1)

Nice work, but you should be listing your used assets here as well, on the same box with who worked on the game and the source. Otherwise, anyone who didn't read the description wouldn't know that these are open source art and sounds. Anyway the dialogue was cute and the pieces you found are assembled together very nicely.

Developer

Thanks for the advice.
