Interesting mechanic of moving in a turning ground! It made for really fun moments! And the overall art direction is neet, well done!

Thanks a lot!

awesome game! The graphics are neat and the music highly appropriate for the gameplay, The mechanic is straightforward but the challenge of navigating , builds up as the levels progress. Good replay value , overall I enjoyed playing! congratulations! keep it up!

I really liked this - I did run into a problem where on a second run of the game I didn't gain or lose levity so I was stuck on the first level. I at least got to see the doggos ^_^

Developer

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Yeah - fix is coming soon for replay!

The tornado layer idea is particularly neat imo

nice wee game. I found it oddly relaxing considering i'm in tornado, in a good way

Well done, nice pemise and execution.
Found it a little tricky to avoid those cows :P.
Nice replayability with the multiple endings to. Great job.

This is a very cute and nice game to play. I love the low-poly aesthetics. The gameplay is intuitive, simple, and fun, exactly what you would expect from a jam game. Witty writing, cute and well-designed models, smooth gameplay, all done by 1 person. That's impressive.

To make this game better, maybe increase the complexity of the level. It feels quite basic and bare, and the game ends unexpectedly when you thought there would be more. It is probably also a good idea to integrate a story into the game.

Nice job, nice game, nice doggy! ;)

Thanks - appreciate the great  comments and feedback. Alongside the bug fixes in the next update, I am making some tweaks to the levels. Some will be faster, some will have added or switched objects. I think I'm going to building more stages once this initial piece is a little more polished.

Great job with your submission! I think the idea for the story is really unique! Everything worked really well too. I wish I could've saved another lost soul, but oh well, what can I do? At least I got to see some doggos.

Nice work! Clean job overall.

fun game, I enjoyed it, well done.

Congrats. Some animations on the main character could be a nice touch.

Developer

Thanks - totally agree. I had some animations, but for some reason they always broke the character's position. I'm pretty new to all of this, so I decided to cut his animations have a couple days of headaches. Lesson I learned is that I think I'm better off animating in Unity than in blender.

This was a fun little romp! Your core gameplay is quite solid, and the graphics fit very well. I would have loved a music change between stages, and some SFX for the main character when moving.

The dog pictures were also quite appreciated.

Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed. I agree a little more polishing on the sound side of things are in order. For some reason that's one of those things I find challenging to implement well.

Played and rated.

Fun little game, it's quite original! The art and audio are nice, the gameplay is unique.

I was confused at some points where the screen froze but it's because the levels were loading. Having a loading screen would be one improvement. Having more levels would also be.

Overall a unique concept that was fun for a little game, great work! :)

Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/rise-of-necromancy

Thanks for the feedback. I've heard that a couple people are having issues with the level transitions and then some have a smooth transition. Maybe there's something creative I can do to kind of load things in the background to keep that smooth feel I was trying to get. Glad you had fun. Your game looks right up my alley, will definitely check it out in a bit.

This was fun and the gameplay was well put together. I did feel that the transition between levels was a little too abrupt.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Will be taking a look at the transitions for my next update. Glad you had fun

Great submission! Love the graphics, the music, and the very creative approach to the theme. This is definitely a unique gem out there.  Awesome job!

Developer

Really appreciate that. Awesome to hear you enjoyed it!

Congrats on completing the jam! I liked your level transition, it was a bit trippy in a good way. Neat concept! As a suggestion, I would allow any key or click to advance the story instead of just enter, and placing your intro text into a panel (like your ending text) would make it easier to read. :)

Developer

Thanks a lot! I think you're absolutely right about the clicking to advance. I keep forgetting to add that to the updates. It's now noted for the next one. Good call about the text as well.

Good concept, definitely clever. Would've liked to see more polish on the intro story and ending but gameplay is solid. It was a bit boring at first but third stage onward got interesting. I feel like the boss could be a little quicker to give you some fear. Good work!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Agreed, there's much to be desired for the intro and ending design. Originally I was planning out some animations, but quickly realized that would take too much time to work out, but I have some other thoughts up my sleeve for later.  Agreed, on some of the slowness of some of the stages and there's  not a lot happening at the beginning. Might need to work on how to make it more interesting at the start.  Might help people discover the secret "under" level too.

Nice concept, fun game. I like those 3d models, they all look great and are put well together.

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot. It was fun trying to build new things.  Especially the cow...

Submitted(+1)

It was an interesting experience! Good choice of music and SFXs

Submitted(+1)

Nice game, it looks and sounds really nice.

And I liked the ending I got :)
