Nice concept! it's a bit hard to play in the beginning because there's no indicator like accessing shop and no bullet trail/feedback from enemy but once you pass the first harvest, its a smooth sail. Might want to speed up the game progression. No bug encountered. Good Game!

Cute game! I think it's a nice idea but it was hard for me to understand at the begining what I'm suppose to do. Also I recommand adding any UI that's being opened (like where you buy cows) a closing button because it took me time to understand I need to move in order to make it being closed. Anyway, nice work!

Developer

Will try to add one, thanks for the suggestion!

Cool little game! was a little confused on how to get things going at first but once I figured it out all good, would have like to have some kind of animation knowing that I hit the enemy's when I was shooting sometimes was hard to hear the sound over music and gun shot. Also not sure if the crop just takes a long time to grow? I was only able to harvest from the cows. overall felt nice to play :)

Developer

If you watered the crops each day, the crops should grow. Thanks for the feedback!

ah okay I think I didn't water it the first couple of days

Fun idea and I liked how contained it was, while also being split into a strategy/farming sim and an arcade section where you fight off blobs. I could have used a little more handholding in the UI. For instance, a counter showing me how many days left until harvest on each plot, and a master counter showing me how many days total have elapsed. Maybe also something to indicate when a day ends? I also found it confusing when shooting at enemies that there were no projectiles. It was hard to tell if I was doing anything until the enemy disappeared. But I think it will be really cool if you can add some polish to it.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! Will try to add all these quality of life features in a later update!

I really loved the pixel art style, it fits this game very well. Save the cows!

Developer(+1)

Bless the cows 🙏🙏🙏

Very fun and addictive game. I have always dreamed of my own cow. About two cows. Congratulations!

What a nice game, I really enjoyed it but I could not beat it It felt like puzzle game and when you buy wrong thing once you are doomed. Nice addition would be bullets because sometimes I was not sure if I hit the blob or nor. Overall great job!

Seemed good. I feel if you add some crunch to the enemies, like knockback, it would go a long way.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Good idea! Will try to implement and see if it works with my scope of the game.

It is a really nice game. I would say the only problem is that there is not a way to see if you hit an enemy. Overall, it's a great game. Good Job!

A fun and simple game to play! I will say, it was difficult to know when I actually hit an enemy. Adding either a bullet trail or making the enemies flash red (or both!) would help with user feedback. Otherwise, awesome stuff!

GREAT GAME! VERY FUN!!! The game is simple and quite addictive.

I just love that this farmer is sporting a Glock.

Cool Concept, the music loop was cool!

This was interesting and had a lot of depth for a game jam.  I shouldn't have spent all my money on cows lol.  As others have mentioned it was difficult to figure out what I was hitting, but as you mentioned you planned to add a bullet projectile or line for firing.  We all know first hand how hard it is to get all the features in in the jam timeframe :)

Smart take on the theme!. Monster could have some kind of health indicator, that was a little bit confusing at first.

Developer

After the jam is over, I will try to add a health bar and a pistol line to indicate where you are shooting. Thanks for the feedback! <3

Fun game when you realise not to spend all your money on cows the first day. Enjoyed the mechanics of the game. Only thing I could say is maybe a hit indicator on the monsters would be nice, sometimes I wasnt sure if i was doing any damage or not, and wasnt sure what one I was hitting.

Developer(+1)

After the jam is over we will add that feature. Thanks for the feedback!!! <3

This was fun I wanted to keep playing.

I would add a crosshair or some other indication to which enemy i am hitting when shooting. Good entry.

Developer

Will do, thanks for the feedback! <3

Great entry! Only thing i would add is a feedback sound when you hit a monster!!! Good job nonetheless!!!

Developer

Thanks for the comment, actually there is a sound but I think it's not that loud, but in a future update we thought of adding a hit that pops up on the monster

Solid Game i like it! The gun shot startled me when i first tried it LOL. All good across though!

Developer

Yeah, sound wasn't correctly normalised to fit in with the others but didn't test it long enough or didn't think it was that much louder X
