Not bad, controls felt wonky to me but im old fashioned in game controls lol. I did like it though, it was well done.

If anyone wants, they can check mine out too.

Don't know if you've done an update and broken it since others played, but on the WebGL version (can't see another anyway), all I'm getting is this on my Safari browser -

Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)

and on Firefox it just sticks on the loading bar.
What browser is anyone else using?
Oh scrap that, Firefox finally loaded :P,.. BRB

And I'm back :)
What, I can't go backwards? Must be a bug!,.. oh no wait, it's a feature :D, Made for a great twist on play to have a fun strategy game :).
Making it through the doors room was an achievement,.. I found that cat and a couple of other out of the way rooms, a few too many times :P. But I was rewarded with the fun endless falling space which was a really fun one.
Great work on this, brought a lot of great ideas and such together. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! That's exactly why I had the endless falling level right after the player get pass the one with the doors.

I really love the level design!!! also, the mechanics are a very interesting twist :)  it is very well thought. Congratulations!

Edit: I didn't make it to the end, and I didn't know I could pet the cat!... so, now I'm playing again :P

Second Edit: pet the cat 5 times! ♥

Thank you for your kind words! (and thank you for petting the cat!)

pretty cool game. I love the art style, music was chill and fit the art. I love the concept where you can only go right and up xD.

This was a cute fun. I can tell the creator had fun with the levels.

haha the final stats made me laughSuper cute game. I enjoyed the map variety using the world-wrapping mechanic. That one where you fall through the map and the whole thing is floating coins was fun ^-^

Developer(+1)

I was waiting for someone to pet the cat!! You made my day!!! Thank you!

Love the game, it feels overall very polished! Would love to see more levels.

It's a great aesthetic with the music, sound effects, colors, and figures. They go together really well. Like suggested before, a little more guidance would be helpful. I passed that cat so many times! I really like the take on the 2D theme -- didn't not think about that as a possible interpretation. Great work!

Developer(+1)

I wanted the cat to be some sort of a matrix deja vu moment for the player. "It's that darn cat again! I am having a deja vu." But I guess it works out differently in practice for some players. Thanks for playing and giving me feedback!

That's funny! That's what I was thinking, but I figured it couldn't be what you're going for

Good job on your first game jam submission! This game is very coherent and well put together. I especially like the music and art combo. The attention to detail in the graphics and sound design is truly remarkable. It's evident that a lot of passion and dedication went into arranging the tiles.

I feel that the connection between the gameplay and the theme could be strengthened. If there were more instances where the player could directly interact with elements related to the theme, it would enhance the overall immersion and make the experience even more engaging.

Additionally, I believe that providing players with clearer hints or guidance on what to do next would greatly enhance their overall experience. The arrows are definitely helpful in terms of controls but a mention to the objective would be nice as well.

Overall, great job on your submission! Keep up the good work! I see a lot of potentials:)

An excellent game that will be staying in my collection. 5 star mechanics.

Very creative idea for the theme.

Great submission. Was an unusual challenge not being able to go left, it added to the challenge.

It's just you and me here now, cat. Forever.

Hey there, I enjoyed your title here, creative interpretation of the Theme. You know, ever since Portal I've wondered about that effect where you fall through one vertical portal into another and gain momentum, and you've neatly incorporated it here. I dig the tunes and general atmosphere. I guess the feedback I would give is I'd like to see if you could go further with it, take the mechanics and make it more of a puzzley brainteaser eventually. You keep that chill vibe though, my little alien guy.
