BTW - i am uploading almost daily asset's I have created --  feel free to view and download any of them (most are free, some will be premium based on content/work etc)     but if you want any of my assets (i know it asks for donation - just click the bypass on those)   Follow me if you want to track what content I add (its all 3d/character models for the time until i get those finished, then ill start with my side assets i have created)

Very interesting concept , though I feel for you about the hard drive crashing and losing your work. The mirrored controls took a little to get use to but from what I played it felt good. I died a few times to the ice before i realized you have to stop on it before you can jump again. Good work !

Interesting game! Had my senses thrown off a gew times with the mirroring but managed to get to the end of it! Made into a full game would be cool!!

I like that idea but I am not sure what was going on.

The first level started normally, but after this ice I got to another level and suddenly again to another, where I had to reset my points and then I came to a dead end with wait for it, but nothing happened there.

sorry i ran out of time and had alot of other projects to go back in, it should have reset the game and started over (as it was a two level short game) the reset should have occurred when you got to the end. Ill have to check because for me it was working, but something could have broke in a patch i put in....  ty for the info  (the game reset was suppose to be an indicator the game was complete for where it was)

sorry i wasn't paying attention -- the wait for it is a platform (i have slowed it today) that will approach and you jump on, however it moved fairly fast and people had trouble with it - also resolution seems to be a problem for some people.

Neat concept! As others have mentioned, I had trouble with the platforms moving too fast. Could this have to do with frame rate? I'm not familiar with Unreal, but in Unity, if you don't adjust for frame rate, the movement of game objects can end up being way too fast or slow depending on the hardware it's running on. I really like the mechanics, though. Lots of potential if you decide to keep working on it. Great work! :)

The mirrored input is a fantastic idea, I only have one request: PLEASE let the moving platforms pause/slowdown before going back. My biggest battle in this game was getting onto the moving platforms. Other than that, great game :)

I am --  rebuilding it from scratch now-- I will put a delay on those to make them easier--- or move the camera out as you approach- not sure how i want to go about it yet.


look down a few posts, there is a screenshot of the new version being built.  Im debating building it for android as well WITHOUT advertisements of any kind - just maybe allow for donations in it.

If you're good at marketing then it could work to release to android. I'm not so good at it, so my 2 android apps have 0 downloads :D

The man was doing some geisha style toe wrapping :D 

I couldn't get the pass 100 points to continue. I went back, got to the other part where the massive slider is and then got the 100 points and the little guys on the map made me huge, but then I couldn't get under and I had over 100 points but the wall didn't dissapear.

Fun idea with the mirror worlds though, made me stop a few times to make sure I was moving into the right direction.

Aaah, I did not see that, I just though it wanted me to get 100 points, because I couldn't really see the text, but anyway really fun idea, some more polishing and it could be even better! :)

ohh its getting a full makeover now that the asset type limit has been lifted and I can use a few more asset's that were once free for the month types but no longer free-- and I had the time to redo my animation attachments so my character will have its own native animations. 

second is after hitting the mirror and moving a little further in. that platform rotates horizontally so you have to balance to the middle or fall off and time your run for the next rotating platform.

that's the fatal thing that happens sometimes when you are pushed for time and have to redirect animations in unreal and use ones that are not native for the character. I ran short on time when I had a hard drive failure lol...   my original start didn't have that as I wrote all the code and setup my own animations but it was lost. lol

Honestly, I couldn't pass past 25 points. There's a moving platform, but it is moving so fast, that to reach it I should jump before I can see it, otherwise it will be too far away. Maybe there some mechanic to make it easier? But if so, I couldn't figure how to use it.

im wondering if screen resolution is causing an issue,  i havent thought to try the game at different resolutions -   ty for the information.

He does not want to jump when he is on the second obstacle (w or space). Is there something I didn't understand?

you have to reverse direction slightly to stop movement -- then you can jump


also like i mentioned earlier -- i liked your game -- you should push forward on it... :)

the feet on it was due to losing a large chunk of project to hard drive crash, i had to attach default animations to my character (from side scroller template character in unreal) ... this left the affect below, but then I thought---   the toes could be locked between worlds, so I left it and didn't work on fixing it lol.   If I continue on with that game for any reason, i will probably fix the feet lol.

Cool concept with the reverse controls. Reminds me of some of the SNES games that did this

I disabled hardware raytracing support incase it was causing issues for some people. Hope that helps, otherwise im at a loss...  :)

for those who haven't figured it out -- to get more than 100 points... you can quit the game completely and then restart it (Escape key)   ... and your score is saved but level is reset ..   ;)    thus don't escape the chaos that way
