Cool game with a nice tron-esque aesthetic. I would recommend being a little more forgiving towards the player in the beginning. Still an overall fun game mechanic of platforming between dimensions. Also, nice touch by switching music tracks between dimensions. Keep up the good work!

nice game I really like the lighting which was used in the game it seemed to pop and the character is standing out, great work guys. would you try out mine and rate it according.
Awesome game. At first I thought hmm thats gonna be challeging to remember all the platforms. After a while I realized they stay and then was supper happy about it because it would be very very hard without it.
Only thing that is missiong for me is a death counter :D
Really impressive! But I have to say I didn't get the mechanics until seeing your description in the comments :) It's a bit confusing at first, so it could be a good idea to do a little tutorial with a few first platforms. With that, the game is really worth further development!
Very cool game! It took awhile to get the hang of things but once I grasped it I was having a lot of fun. I like the unconventional approach of making things interactable when you can't see them, really gets your brain working. I also like how the platforms become enabled once you touch them and don't reset so you don't have to resolve parts you already have. Gamepad support worked amazing!
Looks great! Music is really good. Gameplay is a bit confusing. I think a simpler start with a tutorial would be really helpful. But man, this looks really good and has so much promise!
Very good and fun! It would have been great if there were plenty of checkpoints to avoid having to repeat the same area so many times. But incredible job!
Glad you liked it even though it must have been a pain in the ass to start from the beginning. There were three green checkpoints across the level. But they only work if you walk through them (no jumping). That might be why you missed them. We will fix that in the next days so that the checkpoint works even if you jump over it. Thanks for your feedback!
Liked the game itself, maybe checkpoints would have been a good idea (or if there were I missed them :D) Took me ages to always remember how to do things and I got frustrated when making a mistake far away, but that doesn't take anything away from the game itself, fun mechanic!
Art style was cool and theme was 10/10
Great concept on target with the theme!
Loved the art style, the effects and the controls were smooth, and I really appreciated the controls being displayed at the start.
Nice submission!
The synthwave aesthetic was on point and it was an excellent implementation of the theme. Took me quite a bit to understand how things worked, but otherwise this was a really good entry.
I love the concept between 2 dimensions and the Tron-like aesthetics! And the control is smooth!
It's a really cool concept. The assthetics is close to Tron I like it. Jumping on platforms that you can't see isn't easy. At start I wasn't switching enough so I kept dying without knowing why :D I still didn't make it to the end but I will. Congrats for the gameplay, it's really great.
It took a bit too long to try and figure out what I was trying to do. A bit more guidance might help. Over all, great artwork and great submission!
Had some trouble at first but quickly got into the hang of things! great work
Definitely a tricky game and difficult to understand at fist what the mechanic is between switching between the two realms. Even after understanding it, it's still especially hard just at the beginning. I could see ramping up the skill and getting pretty good at the platform jumping and swapping between worlds. Glad it's unlimited lives!
Cool concept!
The platforming can be pretty tricky and is challenging. But, in that sense also made me want to beat it.
It took a bit to grasp the concept, cause I think intuitively at first I wanted to match the colors instead of doing opposites and therefore just fell through all the platforms at first.
I found the best strat was to switch dimensions at the last second to still see what was going on in the different realm, and also get the platform to turn 'permanent'.
The checkpoints and permanent purple platform are a god's blessing for keeping the progress, cause it can be pretty hard to determine what actually killed you and you have to start over.
Especially in the last part. I wanted to speed through the last part, but if you run too fast the homing bullets of both colors are hitting you at the same time - so, you always die. So I had to go step by step at the end to not let the bullets spawn at the same time.
Also, I found later on that you are supposed to drop through the lasers right? At the last checkpoint I jumped on the left blue platform to skip all those spikes ;)
Was fun to play! Nice work!
The game looks beautiful. I could not get through the 3rd platform though. Keep on jumping through it and there's nothing there in the other "dimension."
Hey, thanks for the comment. I'll try to explain the mechanic as best as i can... It's a little bit confusing.
1. You can switch between two dimensions: orange and blue.
2. When you switch the dimension, your body also switches its color.
3. The color of your body is always opposite of what you see. For example if you see blue platforms, your body is orange and vice versa.
4. You can only touch / collide with the color of your body. For example if your body is orange, the platform has to be orange as well if you want to jump on it.
What that effectively means, is when you can see the platform that you want to jump to, you will fall through.
What you need to do is, switch to the other dimension (so that the platform is invisible) and jump towards where the platform was.
You will basically stand on nothing for a couple of milliseconds until the platform gets corrupted and changes its color.
From then on the platform will be in both dimensions. I encourage you to give it another try and let us know if you liked it :)
I really liked this one, I couldn't stop playing trying to reach farther and farther through the level!
As a piece of feedback, the core mechanic got a bit confusing for me at the beginning; maybe a short graphical explanation would have been cool; even if in the project's description at least with a pair of screenshots.
The game itself is very fun, though! I liked it and once the core mechanic finally "clicked" on me, I enjoyed it a lot
Stunning, just stunning. i have no idea how you even did that. great job. amazing. loved even your page. good work.
