I love their little hats! This is really well done, I loved the animations and the level design, it fits the theme very well, great job! I have decided I definitely do not want to be in an airport if there is a zombie outbreak lol
Thank you for taking the time to play our game and giving feedback. The helmet started after our 3d artist first revealed the zombies. I told him that the hair looked like it could easily be detached from the main model and we could make it a different object attached to the head to have some variety in our zombies, maybe even adding some helmets for added difficulty. He made and shared the bald zombies and the two helmets in a short time but never shared any hair, not even the original hairstyle. In the end, all our zombies ended up bald. Glad you enjoyed our game.
Cool! Thanks for that behind the scenes info! :)
Nicely done! I played the .exe version. I really like the zombie animations and the fact that some had helmets to prevent headshots.
Thanks for taking the time to play our game and giving feedback. Glad you enjoyed our game.
Great game! At first, I thought it was way too easy, but then started to notice that the zombies were spawning faster than I could kill them. I really enjoyed the music and the synty polygon characters, and I had a good time shooting zombies.
Thanks. It still feels incomplete. We would have liked more time to add weapons, more zombie variety, and a mechanic similar to your game where the zombies attack a door leading to other survivors if you are too far away. Still happy with the results.
Always a good time getting headshots on zombies, in combination with the sound effects, makes it very satisfying.
I came to your rate page from your reply on my community post and realized that your project was one of the first I played after submissions!
I really enjoyed the airport terminal setting for the zombie attacks as that as always been a site I thought would be perfect for a last stand haha. The headshots to the zombies were very satisfying gameplay and I liked your sound effects. Excellent work!
Thanks for giving feedback. We might not have implemented every idea we wanted but we did somewhat complete a game and learned doing it.
It's a very cool concept and the movement and shooting felt very natural :) To add to the stakes it would have been nice to have had an actual spot of people to defend and know that if I left them there's the chance they will get eaten - so giving more of a end goal or stakes to the game beyond the player would be cool. Great job! If you get a chance please go take a look at my game, I would love some feedback.
Thanks for taking the time to play our game and giving feedback. We planned to add more powerful weapons with limited ammo. We also planned to have the zombies target and eventually open the closed door on the upper floor but we ran out of time to implement it. I believe your game to be The World Gem. The game itself is fine but you either need to shorten the opening cutscene or a way to skip it (Or if you can skip it make clear how to do so).
This was awesome! I honestly felt like I was playing some good old Nazi Zombies from back in the day.
Visually - Loved the environment, very cool choice to set it in an airport, the weapons and zombies look nice also. Cool gore effects! Very satisfying when getting headshots.
Music and sound - I thought the sounds were very good and tied well to the gameplay. Music was great as well! It kind of put me in that arcadey-shooter mood which I think is what you were likely aiming for.
Gameplay - the shooting felt satisfying and I could definitely feel myself getting better at headshots the more I played. The one thing I would have liked is maybe some more weapons but I am kind of a hypocrite for saying this since my game only has one type of weapon. It just felt like as the zombies started to pile up I could have used some more firepower to stay in the fight! Let me know if I missed something there.
Awesome job and excellent teamwork!
