Nice game :) Also after turning on my speaker: great soundtrack :D
It's a good game idea and it's very well implemented given that you were the only developer on the game!
As others have already said, the difficulty is well-balanced!
Good job, keep up the nice work.
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your kind words.
I noticed that for some reason I didn't give any rating to the game, so I am playing the game again.
After playing it again, I really liked the appealing placement of everything, and the smoothness of the mechanic and gameplay. I liked the variability of the enemies, and the powerups that appeared from time to time to keep the gameplay engaging. I think you really did a great job on this game!
The gameplay is quite engaging that I couldn't stop playing until I beat the game. I like the enemy variety. The difficulty curve and the enemy wave patterns are crafted well. The health indicators next to enemies is a nice touch. I always have a thing for minimal color palette pixel art games. Great job!
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your feedback.
Great job! This was a ton of fun to play and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end! Really impressed with how well the difficulty was balanced!
Thanks for playing!
Very FUN and UNIQUE idea on this game! AWESOME WORK!!! GREAT ART!!! NICE MECHANICS!!! This was a fun challenging game. Loved it.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you loved it.
Fun game - good variety of enemies and a satisfying to use power up.
Thanks for playing!
Fun game, kept me gripped till the very end!
The pixel art reminded me of Digimon (the original version). The game was paced well, and the difficulty ramped at a fair rate. New enemies were introduced at apt timing. I was hesitant to touch the "goblin" but got a pleasant surprise that it was an attack upgrade.
The soundFX worked well too. Length of game was perfect for a gamejam!
Well done!! Solid entry!
Thanks for playing! I really appreciate the feedback, especially about the power up. I didn't realize people might think it's a kind of enemy; I'll work on making it more obvious that it's helpful not harmful.
This was fun! I really liked the style, the art and music complimented each other well I felt. I got caught out by the first ghosts moving diagonally, haha, but the difficulty increase was well paced I think.
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your feedback.
It was fun, intense and well balanced :D !!! This is really impressive that you learnt and used a very new engine during the jam submission. Every time, the powerup timing seemed like a last-ditch hope with great intense. Great work! ^ ^
Thank you very much!
I just played the game, it was fun playing it! I loved the unique art style you are using, the variety of enemies makes the game more dynamic as well!
Great game!
Thank you very much!
Very fun and stylish, seems hard at first but the length of the level balances out the difficulty
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your feedback.
I think the oncoming enemies and the mechanic worked well and you did a good job on the game!
Thank you very much!
Such a fun little game! I think you perfectly balanced how the game gradually gets more difficult and slowly gives you stronger shots. Nice job on your game!
Thanks you very much!
What a fun game! I liked how you had a variety of enemies with different attack patterns, and you did a really great job parceling out the difficulty in manageable chunks for players to ramp up to. I sadly wasn't good enough to beat the game but I had a lot of fun trying!
Great work!
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your feedback about the difficulty. It seems to be hit or miss with different people, so I definitely have some room for improvement there.
Very solid entry, I really liked the minimalistic art and the mechanic is simple but effective!
Maybe the SFX are a bit too loud compared to the music.
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your feedback. I'll add a settings menu to adjust the volumes to my to-do list for after the rating period ends.
I successfully defended the tower! I wasn't sure I was going to make it. In fact, there are a lot of uninvited guests down there right now...
Nice, clean aesthetics and fun, straightforward gameplay. :) I very much appreciated the auto-fire! I also liked that I could 'plan ahead' a bit by firing off the appropriate number of fireballs toward a far off enemy before switching to a new lane. While, again, a pretty simple concept, it's still satisfying to feel clever in that way.
It's impressive you made this in ten days while also learning to use the program you made it in for the first time. Great job!
Thanks for playing! I really appreciate your kind words.
Simple graphics, simple gameplay, It all felt cohesive and fun! Thanks
Thanks for playing!
Good job. simple but entertaining mechanic.
Thanks for playing!
amazing game! The graphics were simple but still worked really well and were aesthetically pleasing! I loved the little skeletons. The health bars for each enemy was super helpful too. Holding space to autofire really really helped, because before, i was just rapid pressing space and the sound of my spacebar was annoying haha. Great job on the game, especially for your first jam and first time using this Phaser!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your comments and feedback 😀
