Loved the artstyle and look of the game, the gameplay was also very fun and i'm surprised by the variety of envoys! Wished the game had some sound effects but still an awesome game!
Thank you! The only reason I didn't include sfx is that I don't have much experience with it. I'll try to put in future games though.
Everything in this game clicks together SO well! I really like all the different creatures and upgrades! It took me a second to notice that I have to drag these out of inventory and what ascensions do. Very good game!

Ohh! Really fun tower defense game. As a genre it's very hit and miss with me, but I really liked this one. Really nice retro-style graphics, good music, and pretty intuitive game mechanics. By the end, I really wished I picked up some of those teleportation blessings as I desperately needed to re-deploy some of my units to new locations.
Even though I lost, it left me feeling challenged and not overwhelmed which, tbh, is part of what makes the genre so fun is finding the best strategies and adapting on each play through.
Will very likely be coming back to this game again!

Very nice game. I made it until difficulty level 23. I died because of the slimes that split appart in multiple enemies. I had hard time to understand the build mechanics (buy, then drag n drop on the map). Same for the power ups you have to be very precise to bind them to your envoys so I got the mechanics right mid game ^^ I'll give it another try as I love tower defense games and I used to develop one for a long time! :)
Thank you! I do admit that RNG spawning can be devastating as the big slime is the tankiest one beside the boss. I really hope that you overcomes the boss at wave 25 if you decide to give another go.
Really fun game, liked exploring what all the different envoys were doing also trying to power up my main "tower"
liked the design overall, though I kept pleading with my envoys not to attack the slimes for them to split and make me take more damage.
Didn't like the camera movement, would have preferred keys.

Nooo! I didn't manage it yet, and I had to force myself to stop playing so I could go rate other entries. But I'm definitely coming back to beat this one.
Awesome game! The randomness and variety add a ton of replay value. I thought the camera controls with spacebar worked really well. Loved the visuals and music. I only managed to get the boss down to like 70%, I think I needed more damage and less pierce. What does the jester blessing do?
Hey thanks for checking out my game! The jester blessing creates 3 small explosions on target hit, which is very good on high pierce attack; and the explosion damage is fixed at 10.
very addictive, great mechanics on a tower defense. maybe controls can be upgrade to make easier the navigation

Thanks! Some info on the boss: he has base hp of 30k, and by the time he first spawns it increments to ~50k hp, so basically a DPS check. You would want to prep a single target DPS tower to beat him.

Amazing game really cool visually and mechanically, cool spin on a tower defense game.
The only thing I would say would be to add a tutorial to teach the player the mechanics better (the itch page controls are all good except how to drag your recruits just simplify it "Left click and drag recruits after buying") and instead of having to hold spacebar just remove it so its right click and scroll wheel.
Really cool game, probably my favourite so far for Aesthetics the whole ladscape and enemies looks awesome maybe some particle effects would be a nice addition.

Really addicting! Great job with the visuals and feel. While the boss is a bit hard(could be a skill issue on my part) the overall difficulty curve is really good and the upgrades and characters feel impactful. Very fun.
Thanks for your comment! The boss was a DPS check because I did notice pierce upgrade and bombs were too dominant. Maybe a boss warning would have helped though.

This is a really fun tower defense! It's really fun to see which new towers and upgrades you can buy. The pixel art style is super pretty and all the animations and effects are really exciting to watch. Great job!

Absolutely loved the placing and upgrading system, felt very smooth and easy to use. The variety of towers, attacks, and upgrades also made the gameplay very enjoyable.
