Good job in finishing your game. It had a unique look.

Developer

Thanks so much!

Great job on this! I had a ton of fun playing, and I am impressed with how much is here! I'm a big fan of the artwork and sounds. The gameplay has that "Just one more round" type of feel where I always want to do at least one more day. Great job again on this!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, that's exactly what I was going for!

Our design approaches for the jam are strikingly similar yet your game is far more complex and complete than mine. It is really gorgeous! Great job

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I spent A LOT of time on it the past 10 days, I don't have a full time job so I was able to spend probably way more time that I should have lol.

It really shows your hard work!

Really cool game, I played it on my youtube while giving my reaction and feedback if you want to see it you can check it out here

Developer(+1)

Oh awesome! Thank you so much this is so cool!!

If your wife has any feedback after you show the game to her, I'd love to hear from her too lol

Well i spent a bit too much time playing that lol, nice job this game is very easy to lose track of time playing, it's simple but in the best way. Nice art and the gameplay worked very well, the timer going at the top during the tutorial made me panic slightly but other than that it was fun.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! One of my main goals was to make a 'lose track of time' game, so I love to hear that feedback. And yeah lol, I've had several people say something similar, I'll need to make a proper tutorial after the voting ends.

Submitted(+1)

I've added your game to a collection, i'm looking forward to seeing how it grows :)

Great game! The art is simplistic and cute, and I like the idea behind the game. Very clever in tying that in with the theme.

Developer

Thanks!! I knew I wanted to make a food assembling game next, just because I've always found them fun and wanted to make one, so when the 'last stand' theme was announced I was dedicated to finding a way to connect the two lol.

bro , nice game , i had fun

Developer

Hey thanks, I'm glad!

Submitted(+1)

Very impressive you accomplished all that in such little time! Loved the story-telling.

Developer

Thank you! I spent every free minute I had on it during the 10 days lol.

Oh man, thank you so much for creating this game. It reminds me of my childhood in Cuba where we used to play this kind of game. I love the art, even if it’s simple, and the sounds too. 10/10. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving such nice feedback! I'm glad it made you happy!

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOOOOOOOOW!! This is so amazing! I was expecting to come by for a few minutes, sling some hotdogs and leave. Instead, i've been here for nearly an hour building my hotdog empire! Great example of a simple idea, flawlessly executed and very fun! So much content, I will definitely be playing this to completion. Really loved that you added a save system as well!! Amazing work, cannot believe you two got this done in 10 days :)

Developer

This makes me so happy, thank you!!

Submitted(+1)

Loved it :) The idea, the execution, the progression, everyhing, well done :) The intro was a bit too slow/long for me but otherwise I had fun playing it, thanks for sharing :) If you have time please check out and rate our game, would love to hear your feedback.

Developer

Thank you!

Other than the art and arrangement, the game mechanics are fantastic! But could you make the order accessible even after the dialogue closes? My memory is like the memory of a goldfish. Great job!

Developer

You can click on the customers to see the order again :)

I like how you show the feeling on the decline of the hotdog stands. :)

If I may, the font is a bit hard to read. There is a bug with the rubbish bin. I can't seem to get rid of the item that I picked up by mistake. And when the game ends, I wasn't able to see my mouse anymore. (edit: I was playing on the browser)

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks for the feedback!

You can't put an item you're holding directly into the trash, you can put it back by clicking again on the "container" you got it from. The trash is for clearing the tray if you've made an order incorrectly or the customer leaves and you need to start a new order.

Oh and I think I just realized what caused the issue with your mouse! The mouse is hidden while holding an ingredient, and then is made visible again when you put the ingredient down, so I'm guessing a day ended while you were holding an ingredient. I'll need to add something that makes the mouse visible upon a level ending to avoid that problem. Thank you again for the feedback, it's been very helpful!

really nice game way more complete than most games in the jam

Thank you! One of my goals was to try and make as much of a full game experience as I could so I really appreciate that feedback!
