How does your game match the theme?
The game is a normal platformer, but with a little twist: the player can switch between two versions of the level they’re playing. As such, it becomes a mix between a traditional platformer challenge, but also about spacial awareness. Doing things in one level may affect the other, progression is tied to how well the player is paying attention to how space changes when switching between levels, and, there are secrets that only those with a sharp eye can find.

A very nice game. You do not mention the double jump somewhere :-) I got up to a point and then I got stuck, after to the right of the dinner table.
Thanks for playing! A hint to progress: it's very close to where you got stuck. Perhaps something looks a bit out of place in one of the levels...? Good luck! :)
Nice art and I like the mechanics a lot. However I ran into a soft lock when I got damaged. Also the shimmer when scrolling was not pleasent to look at, the scrolling updates should be pixel grid aligned.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, the shimmering is quite distracting, we agree. We were unfortunately not able to figure out how to fix this is the timeframe of the jam, but we agree that it is a problem that needs fixing! :)
Completely understandable, time in jams is always so limited! Not sure what tech you're using but it seems related to camera movement so a possible trick that *should* work anywhere is truncate your camera position just before rendering; IE integer only math might look like this: (CAM_POS / SCALE) * SCALE = CAM_POS; (265 / 3) * 3 = 264
Great Graphics and music! Nice mechanics too.
unfortunately I can figure out what to do after the bunny :/

The game froze when I touched a bunny but otherwise a cute fun game. It's not super obvious that you get a double-jump so it took me way too long to get past the first obstacle. Good soundtrack.
Thanks for playing! We'll take that in mind with the double jump. Looking back, I suppose it doesn't say anywhere that you have one haha!
Cute game! Really like the color palette, and even though it's subtle I like the ways you differentiated the aesthetics of the two worlds. Also, have to give extra points for being another "Castle of" game in this jam :)
Hey, thanks for stopping by, glad you liked it! :)
Browser version seemed to fail for me for some reason.
Try opening the game in a separate page. This is known problem with HTML5 export using Godot 4, although I did not have time to fix it before submitting it haha!
Loved the controls and the warping theme! A little confusing at first to understand what I should do, specially with enemies. Maybe adding a box to break before facing enemies would improve this experience!
Thanks for playing! Seems like a reasonable assessment, we’ll be sure to take that to heart for next time!
I really like the palette used here. Overall very nice oldschool feel of the game. Had some problems with double jumping on a pad, felt kind of not responsive enough, but maybe it was just me and my incompetence :)
Thanks for playing! The game does still has some issues, unfortunately, so it may not just be you haha!
Really pretty game! I've noticed though that the player can appear inside of walls of a 'warped level' at certain spots - sometimes it's possible to make a quick combination of jump + dash + warp to clip through a wall, but I'm unsure if it's an intended behavior. I've been a bit confused at first about the controls on the menu screen, I've been trying to press space (for select) before figuring out the player had to press X to jump into the game. Overall I think I had a pretty fun time playing it! :)
Thanks for playing! :) The clipping through walls is indeed not intentional, but hey, if you managed to get some fun out of it, then all the better haha!
