How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Spooky game with a 4 color pallette, limited controls, with everything made exclusively during the jam time period. No generative AI either. Controls are directions, Z (for B) and A (for start). Technically X (for A) and S (for select) were setup but have no use. Was a lot of fun, glad to have participated!

Great job with the light, I love the dither effect and the laser shot. I agree the game miss some music to put a little tension and finding the last one in the dark problem make it feel it missing something for this game. I have fun play this game, until finding the last one. The control on the tank is pretty awesome. I think the base idea is great and it worth to make somework on this game to extend it for more fun.

Overall a great submission. The artwork and shading is wonderful. The pacing of the gameplay felt slow, and this could be remedied with music (even the slowest and softest pulse will make the game feel faster).

First of all, this looks ridiculously good. Great work with lighting and shaders!

I didn't really enjoy the reloading mechanic. Though it might raise tension in theory, in fact it just slows the pacing of the game.
Also this game suffers from one of the deadly game design sins - "find one last thing in an open, dark area without hints or a map". You should really consider tweaking this. Add more enemies than the number you have to kill, make it so one or two of the last enemies teleport closer to the player or just make an arrow pointing to the right direction.
Overall - a solid entry!

Thank you for the feedback! Very much agree with the sentiment of "finding one last thing in this dark area" not being particularly fun. Have a lot of post-jam improvements to do!

overwall i liked it, but some things like the sound, and the delay in reloading weapons, discouraged me a little from continuing to play. But keep it up, it has potential

i liked the game and the visuals, but the static sound was very annoying imo, also felt like the ammo went up way too slow

All the lighting and slow movement, having to find the anomalies but also having limited ammo, it helped with the spooky mood, I almost completed it but couldn't find the last anomaly and after some time searching it I surrender.  Game looks pretty good, I really liked it.

Very fun, i really love this project a lot, I love the tank control, my only complaint was that it was annoying finding the last creature but otherwise it was very enjoyable. The graphics are well made, I quite like the lighting mechanic of it, and firing the cannon was satisfying when it hits the enemy.

Overall I liked it. It took forever to find the last anomaly and purge the sector. Nice white noise adding to the suspense.

Also, d-pad on the left buttons on the right. If you use arrow keys, make sure to add one more mapped button to their right.

I appreciate the feedback! If you don't mind, could you elaborate on what you meant by

"Also, d-pad on the left buttons on the right. If you use arrow keys, make sure to add one more mapped button to their right."

I'm guessing there were directional keys I should have added mappings for but I'm not quite following the specifics, apologies.

Hi, yes exactly. I mean that the directional controls should be used, in my opinion, with the left hand and the buttons with the right. Like on the handheld. Maybe adding some additional mappings to allow that as well. Because arrows and keypad are ok with a normal keyboard, but not playable on laptops. WASD and JKL or something is an common choice, but there we have the problem with the azerty keyboards... Oh well.
