Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it. With all the feedback, I'm thinking of expanding it more in the future. I'll check out your game in a second.
i will definitely check that out when ever you update it
Wow, super tight controls, and really feels like you are a frog jumping around! I haven't beat it yet, but I am going to ramp up my skills and see if I can make it to the end, nicely done!
And if you haven't had a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks!
Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll play it in a bit.
A bit difficult, but fun. I love the cover art, the fast fall button is a really nice design choice, and holding down the S button on the spring is really fun. Adjusting the difficulty or at least making falling less punishing is all you need to take it over the top, I think! Good job!
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to make it a rage game, but maybe I could add an "practice mode" where the spawn point changes so the player can more easily practice it.
Solid timing based platformer you got there! It is hard, but it felt hard because it seemed designed to be and not because of lack of polish or frustrating mechanics. I think the game would benefit from tweening the camera upwards when the player gets higher instead of changing the camera position immediately, it wasn't always easy navigating on the transitions
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it. After reading some other people have problems with the camera changes being instant, I'm thinking of changing it to where it shifts to new positions instead of being instant.
interesting idea! I had a bit trouble at the first level though
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it. I was trying to make it a rage like game, which is why I tried to make it take a bit to beat an area after learning it. Maybe I made the first area a bit too difficult when it acts like a tutorial.
Having "S" as fast fall is excellent design.
Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it, I wanted to give a way to have more control. I need to do more with it, but it was something needed.
Simple yet a great game!
Simple yet a great game!
Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't want to be too complex at the start of it.
ahhggggg sooo hard but so good i can't get past level 2! https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2214540
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it.
simply, original, Great game!
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it.
I love it and love music
I would appreciate to see your feedback on My Game.
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it. I'll play your game in a second as it sounds fun.
The choice of colors is effective.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing. I didn't want to get too complex with it since it would require more to get it to work well visually. Limited colors makes things more instant for understanding.
i totally agree with you!
Nice frog art! And Cool idea.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing.
Fun parkour game where you are a frog ! :D
Enjoyed playing :3
a checkpoint for every level would be epic :3
overall, well made !
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing. I didn't have checkpoints due to trying to be like games like Jump King and Getting Over It, but I know that a lot of people don't like those kinds of games due to the frustration involved due to how punishing mistakes are compared to most other games.
Good idea and implementation. The black and white minimalist graphics fit well. It can be quite frustrating because the frog jumps automatically and you need precision, but that's the charm of the game.
Thank you for playing. Glad you could enjoy it. I wanted it to be sort of a rage game, which is why it requires from precision.
loved the artstyle and the idea but it was too hard for me to finish
could you also check out my game and provide a rating if u want? https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2216257
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it even if you didn't make it that far. I'll check out your game in a bit.
thanks
Fun game! It really reminded me of Jump King and all those other brutal rage games lol. I did get a bit dizzy on the transition from the second to the third screen. The frog jumping meant the entire screen flashed every second and I had a hard time seeing where I was supposed to land. Loved the thumbnail and the minimalistic art style the game has!
Thank you for playing. Glad you enjoyed it. The screen transition is something very simple, and it could have been done better to be smoother instead of instant, probably with an object that moves to a certain point with the camera connected to it. But I was trying to make the game like those kinds of games.
Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed it and that was some of the inspiration. I originally planned to have more physics, but I decided against it to make it more simpler at the start.
Bit frustrating control wise (I didn't even see those trampolines to start!). I wish the game wasn't so punitive when you mess up (i.e. going allll the way back felt like too harsh of a punishment). Still, nice clean graphics.
I'll make the trampolines bigger in the future. But I took inspiration from games like Jump King for the way areas are structured with each section of an area. Thank you for playing.
I did not make it very far, but there is a calming effect to controlling the frog. It was enjoyable. The audio and music is also quite pleasant; it really adds to the downbeat atmosphere. Good work!
Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it.
