I'd recommend starting the speed slower at first and then speeding up because as others have mentioned it's very hard, but I really like this combo and would love to see more!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

Such a cool game idea! I like how you combine the two.

Although the speed on the snake is a bit to fast, and the inputs doesn't feel responsive enough.

I think with a bit of polishing this will be great! :D

Thanks for playing and the feedback! :D Will update the game at some point to be a bit slower.

I have never tried playing two games at once until now, which is why I probably suck at this, it seems to require a crazy amount of skill to survive even for a short period, but a very interesting idea and challenge! I'd love to see what else you make. I think it would be awesome if you could choose which two games to combine from a selection.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and trying the game out! Who knows, maybe I'll try combining something new next time, haha!

I do think space invaders combined with either pong or snake or breakout could work well. It would be cool to discover what game you get by mixing different classic games together and see how hard they would be to play. I have come across a game, not on this jam, but which was like snake and pacman, and it was a really good puzzler, you collect the dots and get longer as expected in a maze and then have to plan which way to go so you don't crash into yourself, I don't think I will find it again as I've forgotten what it was called. But you can definitely make some nice combinations suitable for any skill level

Hi, your game has motivated me to create a game called Invader Breaker. It's a mix of Space Invaders and Breakout. I just wanted to share that with you - feel free to check it out if you're interested. Thanks for being an inspiration!

I probably tried 8 times to even get past the first level but physically couldn't, but then again I know I suck at 2d games.

Developer

Oh, that's too bad :( Thanks for trying anyway!

Wow, this is hard.  Are there really people out there who can do these two things at once, especially at this speed?  If there are, I'm not one of them.  I actually like this idea a lot, but it would have to have and easier mode that moves much slower.

Thanks for trying my game! And thanks for the feedback!

Man, really difficult, especially this late at night. But a decent concept that was a lot of fun.

Developer(+1)

Haha, thanks for playing!

I love this concept - I only managed to beat a couple of levels, but the concept is very strong. My main issue was that the game plays very quickly right off the bat; if the earlier levels were slower and the later ones got faster, it would be easier to adjust to. I would like to see this idea developed further. Great job!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! Appreciate it!
