It's nice to have your own solid art style.
As a fellow RPG lover, I like the style of the game.
Design-wise, I've found the visual effects a little too big. Everything seems affected until you see the damage input only on one target.
If you like it, you can move Fish down just a little so it's easier to understand who will take the damage.

Great little RPG. It also reminded me of Earthbound. This was so much fun. I think this has a lot of room to expand on.

I love this game. The art style is absolute bananas and I am in love with it. I had to play it as soon as I saw the insane looking cover image. I was streaming myself playing it and the people in chat couldn't stop saying how cool this game was and how awesome the music was. I haven't finished it quite yet, need to go back tomorrow and beat it. But I made it a bit past the door boss. One frustrating thing that happened was I was using the mouse to move and I think the game continues moving after a fight based on your last mouse movement maybe? But as soon as I beat the door boss my character walked into the door and right back down so I had to fight it again. I don't think I clicked anywhere after fighting the boss, but maybe I did idk. Really awesome work on this game it is so so cool, one of my favs from the jam so far.

Loved this game, super weird and high vibe-psychodelic, a bit confusing at time how to control the battle and confrontation situations, the controls stuff was not super clear, but would love to see more of this!
