Really solid game you got here. The feedback was really good and the game felt responsive. Idk if there was a difficulty curve but some levels felt much harder than others. Idk what the logic behind the level pool is but that might need some tweaking. Other than that everything was well done, the menu looks eye catching and the music is thrilling. Great job!
Wow I suck but to be fair I've had a couple 🥃 Really fun and very polished. Great submission.
Ouch, this one plays on my weakest brain function "Memory". Still it was really fun to play even when the levels were too complex for my weak brain. One suggestion is to add short detours which contains an item that will show the level again for one more second so that the player has to quickly decide whether to memorize and go to the detour and see the whole level one more time or rely on his memory and go for the end directly. Also, taking detours will increase the time needed to finish the level so it will penalize players with short memories. I attached an example (green=start, red=goal, yellow=item that will show level one more time). Overall, the game is really fun, the visuals are pleasant and the music is also really nice. Great work.
WOW! Awesome Game! Loved the concept and Design of it.
I think this game has a future. Good job!!
I got Stages Cleared: 7, Total Time: 95, 2015 points. The blur effect is so amazing. Additional, The bounding SFX is match with the game perfectly. When I played your game, I fear that when I made one mistake, I will receive a huge feedback which makes me frustrated. But you avoid this problem and make the details very perfect.
When I played first time, I am wondering whether the map is randomize or the pre-made. I guess this is pre-made, otherwise, there is hard to make only one path without using any algorithm. In Visual effect and game design, your game is the best ever I played in this week.
I was actually worried about not giving enough visual feedback to the player, but maybe screen shake would have been too much. The maps are actually randomized. I take a grid of numbers and randomly choose the next space for the path to follow until it reaches the other side. This actually leads to the possibility of earlier levels having the chance of being really difficult so I should have made it so that if the map exceeds a certain length it scraps the map and tries again.
Thank you for the feedback! Glad to hear you liked the game so much!
Randomize! Wow. That's make your game a higher step! Perhaps I played once and cannot distinguish each maps. I feel you can add one feature. If the player pass one path without mistaking, You can add 4-5 seconds to player. Or you can return this level time. So your game will not limited 60 seconds each turn. While it's still one great game now!
It actually does do that. You can see the timer count up 5 seconds on each level clear as well as bonus points at the bottom. I should have made that more apparent though.
Wow. Really. I ignore the time during gameplay and concentrate on remembering the path. What a Good game!
Woo hoo! I got 1910 points! And nice game, btw! It was really fun!
really loved it i got 1400 points or somthing
Neat memorization game! But I feel it might become repetitive after some time.
I agree with the bottom comment about being able to see how you did it wrong.
If it froze the timer for a second and showed you the path again that would be great.
Still, I thought this was well made and obviously you can see the love you put into it.
Very well done, and I hope you keep developing it later.
Wow.
At first, the concept didn't sound really appealing to me, but as soon as I started to play, it was instant fun. Your game is totally addictive, and one of the most polished I had to play. I think it seriously needs more love.
Just one thing that frustrated me a little bit: I would have loved to see the right path again after my mistakes. But that's a very tiny issue, if even one.
I scored 2665 points! Some of those levels seem extremely hard. Good speed run game :)
That was amazing! I loved the idea, and the graphics! I did find one issue, which was that if you look closely enough, you can figure out which way the floor goes (you can see black squares even when the floor isn't visible) but the time limit definitely decreases the viability of this strategy. I loved playing it! I got 1930 points too :)
I liked your game a lot. Not many games make use of our memorization skills, and that's shame because I enjoy that. Your game is mainly focused around that, so you get a lot points from me!
It fits the theme since you only give us 1 second and 1 minute on the timer. After a while it gets really challenging and it makes sense! Great job you did. I would love if you checked my game too.
Great game! Original, smart and very fun. Really makes me wanna memorize all the paths and play it to exhaustion! Only wish I had more time with the hardest levels cuz I'm a dum dumb xD
Nice game idea! I like that it doesn't really punish you too much for going wrong, you just lose out on potential points. That removes what would otherwise be quite frustrating.
I thought being able to see the black cubes would give away the answer, but there's not enough time to take in that information and make a decision before the floor gives way, so it's kinda okay. You could fix this though by disabling the mesh renderer of the object (or the entire object) until you've stepped on it.
Also a small technical annoyance, the high score counts up at the same rate no matter how high it is I think? I got 2,200 points and it took FOREVER for it to finish counting. It would be better to set a timespan (like 1 second) and just Mathf.Lerp from 0 to your score so that the player doesn't have to wait around for that number to count up.
Oh yeah, and I know it's not judged, but the presentation was fantastic in this game! Really pleasant to look at and just generally play.

(if you have the time to rate our game we'd really appreciate it too! ^_^ )
Really appreciate the feedback! I thought about disabling the mesh renderer but I kinda liked that it gave you a little bit of a hint considering the difficulty of the game. Lots of people think it's a mistake though so perhaps it's best to change.
well, it didn't actually help me beat the game, so if it's not a mistake you can just keep it!

Cool idea with an intense difficulty curve! Maybe one SECOND is too short and you get just ONE look and can decide by yourself, when you start the level?
This is a neat concept! The only thing that bothers me is that you can see the black spaces that are next to blue spaces, due to one side of the blue space not showing. That feels a bit like cheating :D
Argh this made my brain hurt. Cool game, I think maybe some of the levels were a bit too hard? I found it more efficient to just fail on purpose on the more complicated levels. Maybe you could keep one or two blocks visible on really big levels to act as a bit of a guide? Or maybe I'm just very bad at this, I don't know. Nice work!
This game is awesome! Simple idea but fun and elegant in it's execution. The graphics are great, music is cool, controls are perfect. The only bad thing I noticed was how if a block you need to step on is to the right, you can kinda see that it's kinda covering the block you're standing on even though it's blacked out, so that can give away the correct route sometimes. Other than that tiny flaw it's great, especially for a 48 hours jam game! :)
This game will help my memory
