Controls are a bit off but that's it, concept and realization are are just really good. The best implementation of "only one" I've seen so far.
This is sooooo good! The only thing I would say is that the control scheme is a bit finicky, as other mentioned, but on a whole this is amazing, so impressive!
The sound design, visuals, and general feel of the game are great. The mechanic is pretty interesting and I only wish there were more challenging levels to test the player's mastery of it but it's a game jam so of course it's gonna be short :)
Some people are pointing out that the movement feels a bit floaty but I think it makes it much easier to get a grasp of the main teleportation mechanic. Perhaps you could improve the theming to give context for the floaty gravity. Maybe it takes place in outer space or the character is some sort of balloon-like creature?
Overall, I really enjoyed this one!
Cool idea, beautiful art style and nice execution.
The mechanic is amazingly genius and the art is gorgeous!
The level design is also very well done and this can easily become an expanded commercial game!!

Hey, we made a GMTK game too. Check it out!
Wow really impressive as a whole, and mind-blowing that you did this in two days! I can totally see it as a full-fledged game with more levels. I really liked it, very nice presentation and a fun core mechanic that fits the theme and is well integrated in the game world (I skipped one level by shooting the shard up). Also echoing everyone, beautiful art! My only critique is the control scheme.
If you could play and rate our game we would very much appreciate it :) It's a top-down shooter puzzler where you can absorb different bullet types and use them to defeat enemies, based on their weaknesses. And all levels can be beat with one shot!
Beautiful art, nice music, and great core mechanic, the shoot-teleport loop is nice ! Feels great except the awkward keybindings.
pretty good take on the "one shot" mechanic
Fun platformer with interesting mechanic and good level design. Really fun to play and has great potential. If the developer sticks with it and create more levels after the jam, it could really grow into something bigger. Really good job!
Great game. I only wished there was an alternate key to throw the shard. I had to do some awkward finger placement to make it through the later levels.
This was the best game I played until now for this Jam. Loved the carachter desing and her weapon. Use to travel across the map and kill enemy is simple and good. Final level I was like a pro using my shard hahaha. Wonderful work! Looking forward for more levels.
This is absolutely lovely! This mechanic is absolutely stellar, I could see this becoming a very fleshed out platforming game like Celeste. I felt clever when I discovered I get an extra jump when coming out of the teleport, I'm glad that it's intentional, it's pretty fun to do!
Actually amazing!
Beautiful, well designed and a cool mechanic
My only complaint is why Enter key? It's so hard to press.
Very nice pixelart! Is there anything you can do after shooting the shard into spikes, other than teleporting right into the spikes ?
I really like this! Very well done! I only wished I could cancel the transport mid way through to land somewhere specific somehow and maybe to recall the shard, but recalling the shard may make the game too easy. Would like to see this game taken further!
Very cool teleport mechanic! You should definitely work on it some more after the jam, the design is so cool. With some more time I bet you could make some really interesting levels and enemies/hazards! Awesome job! If you have free time please check out my entry! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461493 i can tell you're experienced at platformers and could use some feedback how to improve mine. Once again, Great job!
I feel like this needs to be a little more frenetic. Add some quick and fluid gameplay in there and this is gold.
Art is top notch quality, keep up the good work!
So sad that it is so short :( It was a plaesure to play! Nice work ;)
