Music and visuals were great! The player movement was a bit janky at times and it took me some time to figure out what to do, but I enjoyed running around and exploring the different moves.
Cool game, I think it has real potential. I think it couldve been good to give us some clue what our potions do before we use them as its a bit of a gamble to use them when surrounded by enemies
I like where this is going! I think, as others have said, if you were to spend some time balancing how powerful the ability potions are, this would be really satisfying!
This is a neat game with cute visuals! I feel like the game is only a loose fit to theme, and some of the chaos effects are a bit more frustrating than fun. But overall I had fun playing! As some others pointed out, there are a few technical issues with the game: that deafening ring when you die (that was pretty rough) and the speed potion is WAY too fast to be useful.
Who needs ears when you're dead anyways? Other than that, great game!

I liked this one - really nice graphics! I had a few problems though:
1. The fast moving potion made me move so fast I had no control over the character (almost couldn't see him because he moved so fast)
2. The death sound almost killed me.
Otherwise really well done, congrats on making it :))
Fun game! i like the random elements to it. Perhaps increase the timer because the level was over before it got challenging :)

Thanks! We initially had the timer set to 2 minutes but decided to bring it down a bit and make it more playable because it was hard for us to play without spamming the shield potion. Thank you for bringing that up!

Now this was cute. I enjoyed this quite a bit, not gonna lie! It's got a few problems with it mechanically; The potion on K refills just as the shield runs out, for instance making it 100% possible to just spam it until the timer runs out, but it managed to charm me regardless. I do wish the fire potion had more of a kick as an "Oh fuck" tool or a crowd thinner, and the speed potion just seemed like a losing proposition, but you guys definitely seemed like you had a vision for what you wanted out of this game. Not a bad go at all!

Yeah, we had problems with the potions, basically, every potion resets as soon as the effects die out and we didn't have the time to fix it.
the game is interesting to play. I like this visual and a very interesting idea with a room flip, but it seems to me that it should be made not so strong.

We did not have enough time to work on the balancing part of the game.
A solid start. I like the presentation, artwork is really nice, music fit the mood well. The wind/speed ability is pretty broken, after about 2 seconds of using it, the character's speed is through the roof uncontrollable. It seems like things are happening like purple screen flashes, and sound effects, but it's not clear what any of it means. I also felt a certain lack of feedback for any of the actions I was doing, like the fire ability, I didn't really know what it does other than makes fire appear? I can see that it does kill the enemies but I had to go back into the game and specifically look at what happens.
I like the whole rotating the screen thing too, except for the fact that parts of the level go off-screen and it becomes impossible to see where you are when you're not on screen.
Overall, a solid start, I feel the potential but in the current state there's not much there
