Fun concept. I think this is the first time I have seen this type of game. It would have been nice to be able to mute the music, but besides that, I think you did a great job :)
It was fun playing your game! i like the game play. If you like this idea, keep working on it! Awesome job submitting a challenging game to this jam and i hope you improve your game making skills. If you have time, please check out my game :D
This is a super neat concept
I'm a bit sad there is not more levels as you started adding spikes near the end.
The not on hover are a good addition :)
Good job!
A very intriguing idea of how things can only be controlled to a limit! The grayscale colors also matches the style and theme of the game!
I love this game! Keep creating games!
This a really cool twist on the puzzle platform genre! I also like how you can tell what you're hovering over by the music notes that play for different objects.
Solid game, would love to see more levels, as well as a transition level between where you can and can not control your player that was a bit more easy than the current last level, also the music can do with an improvement
Very good, congratulations !
Great concept, really liked the puzzles
Cute game, and I like the presentation!
I love how there's a tone for everything that you can move. I was at first confused by the discordant tones when you first move platforms but then I realized that, oh, it's two... there are two platforms.
It was really cute and the sound design was on point!
now that you mentioned it, there's a big transition between the last level and second last level which might confused some players. I didn't think much about it, that last level idea just popped randomly. If I were to update this game, I will definitely make some plot on it.
Thanks for playing the game and leaving a review!
Absolutely amazing idea! 5 stars across the board. On the last level, I squished the guy between the ceiling and the platforms, and the physics sent him flying towards the portal. It was awesome!
wow i didn't realise that's possible hahaha
Interesting idea. I like the sneaky invisible spikes
heh i am happy that you fall for it
The primary mechanic is original and the presentation is calming.
The scene where it told me I could move the floor was a great reveal. Found it absolutely delightful. Having more complex interactions with the environment could lead interesting places (and more reveals!)
I like the minimalist aesthetic. You could double-down on it and reduce everything to geometric shapes and outlines and it would look great, really.
thanks for playing and the review!
i'm glad that you like the simple level design to reveal new movable platforms.
i'd love to create more complex interactions, but i'm "out of brain juice"
hope you like the game!
Cool idea! However, the graphics and the audio were really, really grating and kinda took away from what was being presented.
i apologize for the graphics and audio, am still terrible at it but will definitely hone up my art skills in the future. hope you had fun with my game :)
This is a really fun game! I like the unique mechanic where you could only move what you hover over! This could make for some really interesting puzzles/levels! My one criticism is that the invisible spikes could have been shown as I wouldn't hover over them until it was too late and could be frustrating. Otherwise, I had a great time with this game.
thanks for playing and the review! I thought adding a little surprise to the game would spice up the game hahaha
glad you had a great time :)
