Even though this game has a really simple concept I found myself having a ton of fun playing through it.
I wished you'd leaned even more into the goofiness of the sounds knocking over and kicking objects make. Having the cat randomly Wilhelm scream or meow in addition to the explosions would've been hilarious and made the game even more enjoyable. Adding onto that the sound in this game was great and this was probably my favorite soundtrack of the whole jam. The music gave really strong Danganronpa vibes, which is a game series that has some of my favorite soundtracks!
My only real complaints would be the ending (lack of ending?), and lack of telegraphing on when the character is going to stumble. I'm not sure if I just encountered a bug or it was truly the end of the game or just a bug but the solid black screen of an ending left me a bit disappointed in the ending. I would've also liked if there was a bit more sway and an actual animation before your character stumbles around, as it is it looks like it's unintentionally (I really like the overall visual style of the game though!).
Overall this was probably my favorite game I've played from the jam and I would be super interested in seeing an expanded version with more houses and items to steal in the future.

How does your game fit the theme?
As a drunk thief, your movement is often out of control, causing you to stumble and crash into things. Not the best for a stealthy robber.

Interesting idea! If development on this continues after the jam ends, I'd love to see more fleshed out controls to the drunk thief, maybe have the thief bump into a bookshelf, dropping books, or have the thief trip over stuff. Nonetheless, I thought the game was hilarious, and the cat exploding in the tutorial got a good laugh out of me because of how unexpected it was. Really cute artstyle, good music, good game overall! Rated.
Interesting spin on the 'out of control walking' idea. Wish the unsteady movement would have more of an impact. I almost never felt in danger of losing the level, even when I ran out of time I still managed to flee from the police. Some smoother controls while the character is not overloaded/drunk could also help to have more contrast there. Keep it up!
Nice game but I didn't understand how to avoid the cat. The art is nice and the soundtrack is enjoyable. Would love a downloadable version
I had a blast with this! The take on the theme was nice and the mechanics took control away from the player without it being frustrating to play. I really liked the bonus level where you got to smash everytthing with the time limits (one of the best bits of the game!) and the story presennted through the newspapers I felt added a nice narrative to the game. This was really well done!
If I had one criticism it would be that I never felt in much danger of failing due to the noise I made. The difficulty implemented by the time limits wzs spot on and I had a couple of last second rushes to the door which added to the excitement. However I didn't feel I needed to be overly careful when bumping into other objects, perhaps this is something you could tweak post jam :)
Overall a really great entry and I had alot of fun playinf it. Great job!
Funny game and theme! Well done. I love how items just explode! Also awesome idea with the police chase.
A big compliment to the main menu. That was cool. Great extra effort.
nice game. the start menu really caught me off-guard.
the introduction of kittens in every hallway was a nice addition, made me chuckle ;)
had some trouble navigating through doors, and even managed to clip through a wall once. also i am unsure if it was intentional, but the timer went down at around 3 times per second, making some escapes feel impossible.
it’s a small fun lighthearted game :)
Love the art and the concept. Really solid implementation. A few collision issues around the doorways in particular, but that's just play testing. Timers do seem a bit tight but I still felt like I was almost there. Awesome game.
Fun! I like how the difficulty ramps up with larger houses and more items to bump into, as well as how the game introduces the obstacles (those darned cats napping in the doorways).
The occasional stumbling that affects the character is at a good level, I thought it was a nice balance between being noticeable, but not being too frustrating.
I managed to escape with 1 second left on one level, and it was a lot of fun being able to just make it out like that. I thought the timer was a little bit too tight on some of the later levels, but you still get a chance to save some score by escaping once the police are on their way, which is great.
Great work!
The progression made me go from really complacent to "OH CRAP OH CRAP NO DONT DO THAT" in a really natural way. it felt a little jarring for my eyes when then character would snap so the side, maybe a little camera follow easing would help that eye strain, apart from that i really like it :)
Accidentally kicked a cat whoops! This is a really nicely structured game and I think the newspaper at the beginning of some levels provides a nice amount of world building. The only real feedback I have is maybe you might want to highlight the desired object? But maybe not having the game explicitly tell you what you need to get adds to the whole out of control element? Anyway still a solid game that could have a lot of expandability with providing new levels and items. Good submission!
That was a really fun and cute game. The sfxs were explosively good, and the musics were also well made! The levels are introduced well to the players. I felt like breaking things didn't really punish the player that much, maybe up the penalty a bit? Overall, I really like the game. Great job!
This game is awesome! Creative idea, and everything works quite well. The music was really cool, good for a thief game, though I think it should have reflected the drunk theme more, especially when everything else in this game, from the art to the menu, does a really good job of this. And perhaps the drunken movement could've been a bit more obvious, but other than that I really like the gameplay as it is. Great job!
Original take on the theme. Didn't really felt like I was that much pressured to avoid breaking stuff. It was more about getting the stuff as fast as possible and that's it, so would need some tweaking in that regard.
The visual is fine, music and sfx were well done and integrated. Didn't encounter any bug and instruction were rater clear. So overall good job !
I enjoyed the premise, but at first was a little cautious about gameplay. But then I figured out you could mess around, get a "cop coming" animation and get negative score. That did it for me. Thanks for the game!
Very Cute little game and I love the way the failing just lowers your score! I love the sounds too with everything just exploding!
I love the music, like wow haha, i would maybe increase the speed of the character and make some very minor adjustments to the drunk drift but besides it, i love it
also when you touch non required items, idk why but when the cat goes boom, it made me laugh a lot
