How does your game fit the theme?
The player doesn't get to choose when to jump, its necessary to get used to platforming when you can't control when you start jumping. You now have to deal with the consequences of jumping when you DONT want to. There are also a couple secrets, try to look out for weird/different looking walls! (You can read more about my thoughts on the jump timer mechanic on the game page if you're interested!)

amazing game! this is super complete. i loved in the start how you discover that you can jump mid-air.thats just good level design without need of tutorial. (also theres a bug in the boss fight when you defeat him but he then kills you. you respawn but you cant fight him anymore)

Absolutely fantastic job! Everything about this game was top notch. The one gripe I had with it was that it was in desperate need of a jump sound, but that barely detracted from the experience.

Really loved it! Art and music are great, and is very addicting! Nice entry!

I really Love This Game. One Of My Favorites

Though the idea itself has been developed by some other participants, you explored its possibilities much more. The game is very polished and each new mechanic gets introduced gradually in a perfect way. The levels get hard and sometimes frustrating, but in a fair way. Excellent job!

I thought it was pretty nice, the visuals remind me of Celeste in a good way. Although some of the levels close to the end could get really frustrating. But otherwise, good job!

The mechanics is not very original, but in this game it is very well polished. The graphics and music is very nice. The game is challenging but fun, well done.

5/5. I've seen this mechanic multiple times during this jam, but few were as polished. Gamefeel, level design, subtle sound effect, visuals, there's even an introduction! Really well crafted.

Wow, the game looks very polished! It took me a bit of time to get used to it. but it was very fun to play then! Awesome!

I love the looks and the music is perfect with how it matches with the jumping. It is also really fun :3

Really fun game and great polish! The art and audio was amazing and you managed to make a game that wasn't frustrating but still fitted the theme. I think that the section with the arrow pointing to the lava was too difficult, I'm usually not too bad at platformers but I got stuck on that section for a long time. However, overall the game was very enjoyable to play and the cut scene at the start was also a very nice touch, great job!

Great art and polish on the game! Really like the style and small visual effects on things like the lava bubbles.

Personally I don't have the patience for platformers and I think my impatience amplified by the timer mechanic, though this is through no fault of the game itself.

Great execution, if there was some basic audio for the jump and BGM I think this would be a perfectly polished game :)

Looks and feels fine! There really isn't much else to say, it's a well done auto jumper that feels polished and finished, like a complete experience. I'm impressed it was all done by the same person. Great job!

Great game, cool concept. Loved  the art, loved the cutesy animation, I can see there was a lot of work put into this game. I wpold like to point out that the audio design was fennomenal, seriously outstanding. Although you went for a different theme and feel, I couldn't help but see a lot of inspiration being taken from Celeste, and I congradulate you for that! Great job!

I beat the game after much hair pulling! Good balance of difficulty  Great concept and cool use of the mechanics in a puzzle setting. Really amazing the depth you were able to accomplish in so little time.

Cheers!

Although uncontrolled jumps seem to be quite common in this jam, you've got a really solid implementation. Beautiful graphics, nice fitting music and excellent introduction. The difficulty is indeed high, but it managed to keep me engaged and not rage quit. Nice idea of jumping mid-air, definitely adds more depth to it. I liked short respawn time too: it allows to keep trying without getting annoyed. Excellent job!

I love the art and the music! There's so much of it and of really good quality, it's impressive how much you managed to do in such a short amount of time. My impression is that visual cues are harder than audio cues when it comes to rhythmic things, I think if the jump was synced with the music, or given an anticipatory beat, it might have felt more natural to play. I really liked the level design, it was on the harder side for me since the first world (I reached until around halfway through the third world), but all the mechanics kept each new world fresh, and all levels were exciting. Great work!
