The game represents the theme "out of control" by showing that even when the player has figured something out... the character's own deductions are out of their control. While most everyone themselves will understand the culprit, the detective simply refuses.

I'm really not sure about this...I love the idea, the artstyle and the humor :D
On the other hand I don't know if I would call it a "game", because it could also be a little video where the butler goes to the interactive elements on his own...
Please let the player to quick fill the text especially when it is slow and makes a loud noise. Aside from that this game was funny I enjoyed it
The funniest game of the jam ! (forget about the past times i said that, this is the one)
But you didn't get me, i watch so many detective series, when the detective announce who it was, i did already guess it was the judge !
And as the detective says : "i'm here to make my game played " ! So play my game ! There's funny lines (i mean, i don't know where but people found it funny ;p ) (but it'd be even funnier if it was finished)
I found a cool knife! - neat little story, however I only got the ending sequence after investigating the footprints for a second time (weird). Still fun tho!
This is a really fun game to play through. I laughed out loud a couple times as it got more and more absurd. Nice job!

This is easily the funniest game I've seen from this jam. I love the way that you were able to poke fun at tropes of the murder mystery genre, and a few parts had me laughing out loud (like the scene where the detective accuses the judge because "you would never expect it"). The gameplay isn't anything special, but the clever writing more than makes up for it. The only criticism I have is that the text appears a bit slowly, and it would be nice to have a way to speed it up. Overall, really well done, and congrats on finishing it all during the short jam window!

I saw the game in a stream on twitch, and decided i had to play it myself. This was a fun experience, loved it! The only thing i would do is let the player make the dialog show up faster by holding the key. Overall great experince!

The text speech bubbles appearing so slowly with that repeated 8bit sound made the game really annoying to me. :(
Thanks for the feedback! We really wanted to add a way to skip through faster but ran out of time, and a way to turn off the dialogue sound would be a great idea. We’ll make sure to make it a priority next time!
