This game is superb, the art direction looks great, the gameplay is incredibly hectic and fun with every 5 second interval having to plan moves ahead. Will be looking forward to see how this develops in the future.

How does your game fit the theme?
I think pretty well. The core mechanic of the game is that you are unable to choose when you shoot or move. Every Five seconds it changes.
Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

the old monitor like effect is beautiful. the music is great. I really liked the camera controls. If you have time can you play my game on https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/698144
Shooting and moving felt nice, really polished. The core idea is strong, but it feels incomplete. It'd be great if you expand upon this with more mechanics:
- Some special zones where you can only move or shoot (maybe at random every time you enter).
- A kind of currency that lets you change the time between moving and shooting (you add 1 second for one skill, but lose 1 second for the other).
- If you really need it, you can switch between skills, but you lose 1 HP.
Also, enemies seem to get stuck at corners a lot.
It's fun and simple and has some considerable visual polish - it felt very manageable and under control for the most part. As I mentioned on stream, something like 'missing a shot reduces your time' could help a lot with putting more pressure on the player and spiraling things out of control.
Pretty cool game! The mechanic is very simple yet is much fun and challenging, specially when some baddies spawn in front of you when you are about to run. I enjoyed the glow effect in the dark ambiance and the effect of the screen opened up when you aim away to the other side is a nice detail. Great work!
Five words: keep up with the game! I’m amazed at what people can do in 48 hours if they want to. The dark, mystique atmosphere is so captivating. This game should get more views; you deserve that. Hopefully, you will continue to work on it, but if not, I liked it a lot, it was creatively nice to play
I said it vial's stream and I am saying it again now that I have played... this is a gem of a game!
Absolutely incredible. Simple, addictive and filled to the brim with game juice!
Wow this game is so pretty!!! The approach to the theme is creative and the gamplay is very enjoyable! Hands down one of the best games of this jam.
Very well done, a simple but very original concept realized in a fantastic way! Sometimes enemies spawn right above the player so that's something you might want to fix in the future
Simple execution, incredible game! Really liked the idea, execution and feeling. Good job =)
If you could check my game, will be awesome!
Great concept and very fun. I enjoyed the art style and effects as well.
i love the effect that happens ones the control type switches! well done!
Awesome game, everything like the controls, visuals, and audio feel so polished. One of the top jam games I've seen so far
Huh, you know I was originally planning for something like this too, but couldn't execute the idea. And here's your game not just executing the idea but with great polish too. Good job!
This game NEEDS more ratings: it's polished, satisfying to play, easy to pick up, looks great and I especially love how the camera zooms out to fit the mouse. Honestly one of the best games I've played so far, good job! :D only issue being that sometimes the enemies spawn inside the player but this is an easy and quick fix as the core gameplay remains very polished
The artwork reminds me of super meat boy! simple but polished. I couldn't figure out what the timer did at first but when I did I absolutely loved playing this. Good balanced audio which is nice to hear.
Here's the game I worked on if you wanted to check it out, thanks! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/696287#post-1639104
