Amazing that you did all the art within the 48 hours! The graphics was definitely on point! I think it would be better if the flamethrower was on longer and maybe there are things that you shouldn't be burning. The hay burning was genius! I think trapping the chicken would be a cool mechanic too! I see the potential in this being an addicting mobile game.
Thank You for your insightful feedback. Things around the flamethrower and more burning objects definitely will add to the fun! I see trapping chickens can be fun too. An actual chase. Points duly noted :D
We do hope to take this further and hopefully you'll get to play it again soon :)
The game felt a little slow paced because many times I just had to wait for the flame thrower to turn on.
The graphics and sound were amazing though, loved it.
We see how that wait time may have caused frustration. We will look into the balancing the gameplay of movement and attack/evade moving forward. Thank you for your feedback :) Glad that you found it worth your time.
This is really amazing dude, I love the low poly style
Genuinely to play and fantastic art. Great job!
this is quite a fun game! both art and sound are incredible and the game is so well-polished :D sometimes just waiting for the flamethrower to work was a little bit exhausting, butthe game was fun anyway :D
The art and audio was nice. It was a nice mechanic having to use the flamethrower to ignite parts of the environment however having to wait for the flamethrower to be ready was a little frustrating. The chickens would also not get burnt sometimes. Never the less, it was a fun game and I did enjoy it.
Ah yes, we acknowledge some of the frustrations like the wait time and the fireproof chicken! :P
We look forward to rectifying these issues, thank you for pointing them out! :)
Challenging game, nice graphics! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
How adorable! Encountered a few bugs but overall an amazing product for such a short time.
I would appreciate it if you'll have time to check out my game.
I really liked the art, but it felt like you forgot about the theme and just slapped the "out of control" weapon on there last minute, which really substracted from the fun
I really like the aesthetic and the idea of the game, impressive work for a 2 days jam. I found a few bugs during the play through like the character stuck in 1 orientation while moving and the flamethrower did not work sometime. I wish the flamethrower would go off more often and more sporadic, since it felt a bit slow sometime. Overall, great work!!
Hey thanks a lot for the kind words. Yeah there are quite a few bugs, you'll be able to play a polished version soon. Thanks!
Both the art and audio is very nice (how do I pet the cute chicken?!). Seriously, the models are amazing and hats down to you for making them all in under 48 hours!
For a turn-based game, I'd hope for a bit more reliable and predictable mechanics. The flames sometimes don't hurt the chicken.
But I really like how the flamethrower interacts with the environment! Makes it more strategic and interactive. Well done on the game :)!
Hey! thanks for the wonderful words. Although it has grid based movement, it is not turn based, it's real time. There are a few bugs, will fix in the future versions :) Thank you.
It does have real-time elements, but the movement is still quite turn-based (it feels to me like I'm playing a turn-based game, just have to choose fast). Think Crypt of the Necrodancer. That's what I meant :).
oh yeah, got you! We'll see how we can use that to our advantage. Thanks
Oh no the chickens !
Muhahahahha 3:)
Great artwork in this one! The old man and his little weapon thingy is looking great.
hey! Thanks a lot, glad you liked it
The presentation is awesome! Love the art. Unfortunately the flamethrower didn't seem to work in level 2. But I really like the concept!
Hey! Thanks a lot Izick, yeah there are a few bugs. Thanks for letting us know and thanks a lot for the feedback :D
I love the artwork! A bit buggy, since I had quite a few times where my flamethrower was pointed at the chicken, but it didn't fry. Maybe, you could have made some sort of indicator for when the flamethrower would go off, and Mae everything turn based, so you could plan out your moves to meet a chicken at the exact right time!
Thankyou for feedback! The bugs were inevitable we tried to fix as many bugs as we could, we wanted to do a lot more but couldn't due to these bugs! Your game is fun to play as always! Hope to see you in coming brackeys gamejam!
