Really pretty and well-made, pretty quickly pretty hard, since it gets harder as you get hit!

Developer

Thank you! I wish I adjusted the difficult a bit.

Thanks for trying it out!

Nice game. I think it would be good if you could collect the items by shooting at them.

Developer

Thank you! Funny you say that because I had the feature, but took it out because I thought it made it to easy, but I'm realizing now that its too hard, so adding that back it would be a good idea! Thanks for the feedback!

Had a difficult time understanding what was going on but had some fun trying to figure it out. Never really got the hang of it or got too far in tbh but like I said I had some fun with it. Well done!

Developer

Glad you had fun! I was just going for an arcade style game where the only objective was to get a high score.

Decent concept , keeping track of all the sliders was challenging
Music did not fit but thats just my opinion tho
overall sick job ! :)

Thanks for the feedback! yea the UI design was no ideal for this lol

this was a pretty good take on this idea. I kind of wish the missiles weren't homing since it means none of the movement I do can ever really dodge a bullet forever, afaik. Places way more emphasis on the shooting part. Good work!

Developer

I agree, after many play tests after I submitted. Thank you!

Cool idea! The presentation was a little confusing since the background doesn't scroll as you move. I would also have preferred to have the health bars integrated into the ship visuals so I always knew my status without having to look away in the middle of combat! I had fun playing this, great job.

Thanks for playing it and your feedback! Yea I changed the bg last minute and it kind of regret it lol.

I love everything about it!

Maybe a bit of small recharging would be great! :D

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! Yes, I agree. making the game a little easier and user friendly can improve the game.

A fun and unique concept! A little difficult for me - I always ran out of ammo, but there were so many enemies I couldn't ration it well. I definitely enjoyed it though.

Thanks for playing it, Im glad you enjoyed it.

Very pretty game! The sound was kinda loud, but after lowering my volume it was fine.

Great visuals and sound effects, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! yea I noticed the volume was a tad loud after I submitted it lol.

Cool game!

Enjoyable controls and the shooting feels very satisfying.

I was having fun just going around shootin but then when my first engine blew up the real fun started!

Cool Game, I really like it,  especially the game over screen animation, its just great.  What you could work on next time is a camera controller, can be as simple as lerping the postion of the camera to the player position. It seems like you attached the camera to the player, which most of the time doesnt look good. (Theres also a Tutorial from Brackeys about it)

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! I actually used cinemachine, looked off b.c of a last minute, attempt at a parallax bg lol which I attached to the player.

Had a lot of fun playing this oneQ

Small complaint is i found the parallax scrolling a little odd, needs tweaking. Overall a very enjoyable game :)

Great job! Everything fits together well.

Good idea, with well executed graphics and audio. Very fun and challenging, although I felt the directions ran out a little too quickly compared to how many pickups there were. Keep up the good work 👍

Cool idea, fits the theme well.

Although I accidentally start playing game, without reading how to control it, after a few attemps I undersand what to do. That is not usual  for many games in this game jam.

So, good job.

I liked how you just lose parts of your ship when having no more energy!

Neat concept of having to constantly refill your controls through the enemy hazards! Movement felt a bit nauseating to me, however, because of the screen effects. They should be toned down a bit. Still, well done!
