I liked the visual effects of the rooms. It didn't really feel "Out of Control" at all. Some variation to the enemies and traps would be nice.

Really liked the game! The art and animation are great, they make the scenery fell really alive, and the gameplay is simple, but very well done. The only problems i could find is that the yellow text covers part of the screen sometimes and i could still play even after the time limit ended, but it does not ruin the game so it's not really much of a problem. Parabéns, bom jogo!

Is it intended that you can continue playing while in the game over screen after running out of time? If so then it gives me definite "fission mailed" vibes. Also what properties is the hacker actually changing because I didn't notice any of that myself? Or maybe it was subtle and flew over my head. Overall very fun, polished, good looking and pleasant to control twin stick shooter. Had a lot of fun with the game : )
No, it was not intencional hahaha This was one of the last things we implemented, so it was left with some bugs.
We were also unable to put all our ideas on time. We wanted to get the hacker to control the game's progress more, but okay...

Very nice music and aesthetics! I agree with all the points Agecaf made. I think having the enemies simply follow the player makes it pretty easy, I only got hit like once. Maybe have some different enemy movement patterns, or ways the enemies can attack you back? And maybe you could have the Hacker villain noticeably power up certain enemies? Great job with what you've got though!
Yes, but as it was a prototype for Jam, we didn't have time to implement artificial intelligence and more complex game mechanics. But we are aware of that, and we will continue development following the feedback from players! Thank you very much for the comment / evaluation! Obrigado!
That's some great teamwork! The graphics, audio and gameplay complemented each other really nicely.
The background was distracting, I thought it was the green thing, but looking at it again it's more of the tiles lighting up; it makes a bit too much contrast. The color scheme is really nice, and the sprites are lovely! The spider (?) enemies were easy to distinguish from the skeletons, but their color is a bit too similar to the background. The 0s and 1s particle effects are a really nice touch! I didn't like too much how the health bars looked like?
The music is great! I love the instrumentation, but it does get a bit repetitive when one keeps playing.
While there doesn't seem to be anything too extravagant design-wise in terms of combat, it is a really nice touch how the skeletons and spiders are affected differently by the bullets. The controls feel just right! The procedural generation of levels is also quite good (is this the "hacker changing the properties of the game"? or was it something else I didn't notice?).
In any case, it looks like you make a great team! It's quite an enjoyable game you've made.

I agree with you, there was an exaggeration in the visual details, and it ended up being very "polluted", in a way, for the player. In addition, we didn't have time to implement the various mechanics that we thought of for Hacker.
Anyway, we will continue the development with the same love that we had to make it for Jam. One more time, thank you!

This is very, very impressive game actually. I liked so many aspects of its mechanics, such as being repelled by enemies etc. Also, I'm not sure if it was made deliberately, but it's for the first time seeing someone switching off the music when I hide the game. What a detail! A little suggestion would be to change the visuals a little bit. I think there is way too many unnecessary distractions, maybe you can simplify it?
Overall, the game was so intense, especially because of the music, you created a good atmosphere with the music and art. Continue working on it, it really is good!
Very cool game, I felt like the visuals could be simplified a bit so it's easier to see what's going on and understand the theme better, the player sprite was especially confusing since I couldn't understand what it was. However, the hacker taunting you the entire time was good motivation to keep playing and made me laugh a few times and the combat did feel fun. I saw from your discord that you are going to keep developing it after the jam, I think the game has great potential so good luck :)

Great job! This felt very polished and its obvious you worked very hard on this. I understand how people might find the background confusing or distracting, but I had no problem with it. It felt very satisfying to play and I mean it as a compliment when I say I wish there was more (upgrades, enemies, etc.) The original art and music is excellent, but nothing new as far as game design. I was hoping to see the theme of the Jam in the mechanics of the game. I'm sure with more time, the originalty would have shone through.
