Nice arrangement of color and sound.

This was pretty fun! And it was pretty funny once I realized all the asteroid shooting, battery replacement, and signal finding was not the real danger :p I like the humor and parody nature of the game.

I feel like the point about responding to your partner stuff could be driven home further with some sticky notes on the desk or something that you could click on and reveal a bit of backstory (e.g. "Remember to get a souvenir from Alpha Centauri for our anniversary on Monday.").

Hello name buddy.  (Did you name your game after our game, or is this a wild coincidence?)

Pure coinkidink!

How decidedly uncommon!

I'm playing now, great sound effects.  Not sure how to control anything - it seems that the batteries mostly take systems offline, which I can't imagine wanting to do, and I am unable to rotate the ship... I was excited to realize someone was calling me on the "cell phone," and thought they might offer some insights.  No dice!

Yo’,
Very fun game, good to kill some time.
It took me a few tries to quite get what I had to do in each screen, but once I got it down, it turn up really fun!.
Keep up the good work!

I do think this game could have really done with a tutorial level to get the player acquainted with the power-usage mechanic. As it stands, there is an excellent feeling of desperation -- with some tweaking, you could really make it come on subtle, slowly, and really strong.

Aesthetically, though, you've absolutely hit it out the park. This game looks and sounds excellent.

I'd love to see this developed into a larger game: aforementioned tutorial level/s acquainting the player with their space ship, establishing characters and the world, making a nice difficulty curve over time, maybe even adding more things to juggle with the power supply.

Considering the time constraint, y'all did some great work. Well done!

The game is great and the idea is really original. Maybe adding some sort of tutorial could help the players  understand whats going on but is a great game overall

Really like the art! Nicely done!

No SPACE texting while SPACE driving! I really loved the distraction of the phone while trying to do all of the spaceship consoles.  It took me a little while to learn what everything did and I think some sort of tutorial would be helpful.  I also like how the music adapts like how it gets muffled in the background when you are focused on a console/phone.  Nice work!

It was a bit hard to understand what was going on at first but after enough tries I picked it up. Nice job!

Just lost cause I told my wife she's fat, 10/10. Controls are a bit unclear at first but game is a lot of fun once you figured it out

That's a quote for the back of the box! Thanks for playing!

This game is amazing!! trying to balance the different screens and the conversation fits the theme really well, and the sense of humor is a nice touch. There's good art, music, writing, gameplay... I would gladly spend money on an expanded version. Major, major props to the team!!

Amazing art and presentation!

Really unique game! I was confused as to how to play at first but once I understood I really enjoyed it! Great art and you really nailed a feeling of anxiety between phone messages and managing the ship. Great entry!

Submitted(+4)

That was a fantastic execution on a great idea. You made me feel anxious every time that phone buzzed.  This has been the strongest emotional reation I've gotten so far in the jam. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! Is it a bad thing that I grin every time someone tells me our game stressed them out? :P

Not at all! You achieved the intended experience. I just released the first game I ever worked on to the public. The feedback has been awesome, but I am hoping that next time I get just a bit closer to the intended experience! Luckily I was on an awesome team that got along great. I learned a lot from this first jam, maybe in a few years I'll nail it like you all did.

I loved the game and the music was perfect. It definitly made me feel the out of control theme. Really wish more  people could enjoy this experience.

Well, it was fun, but sometimes I was confused as to what to reply sometimes

Really good look to this game, definitely has that out of control feel. So much going on!

Good job on getting it submitted. Best of luck.

The audio and UI make it very immersive - it's also hysterical. Nice work!

I loved it! It's everything I want in a game, stress and humor 😂 The longer you go at it the more you get into it, would've loved to see a timer to see how long you last, haha! But overall, it was awesome, the music was very fitting, and the art was super well done ❤️ Awesome job, guys!
