@ChrisAP very interesting game, although I think if you will refine the art it would be great, I also noticed that the canvas was cut out the screen, maybe you can fix this after the jam, overall nice game

Interesting mechanic, with further developing, VFX and art it would be even more interesting and pleasing. Good job!

Fun little premise. I like to imagine joining the blob squad is involuntary. It makes me chuckle. The core concept is solid - change your shape/abilities by picking up animals so you can navigate different parts. However, the controls need more tuning. The extreme sliding and incredibly small jump on the base slime don't feel good at all. I died a lot on the frog level even just trying to get to the frog. And losing control once grabbing it made it very difficult to continue. Unless the theme is specifically "out of control", it's usually better to let the player have control over their movement.

There's a lot of potential here, but I couldn't get past a few levels due to difficulty.

Overall, well done! I can tell there's a lot more here than I saw (probably). Impressive for 48 hours. Congrats!

Really cool idea for joining forces to create movement, I haven't seen much like it! It took me a while to realize that you could rotate with the arrow keys I don't know if I'm just blind and didn't read it. Anyways, I think that there are a lot of parts in the game that are super fun, like bouncing around with the frogs facing in opposite direction. I think it would be nice if the player had more control though, maybe in ways to attach or activate the animals powers. Great work overall, really creative idea!

I loved the concept, having to join with things that gave you their power was so cool! I also found the levels a bit long for the death mechanic, a health mechanic would've been nice! I also found the controls a bit easy to get away from you, with the super fast speed. I don't know if there was a cap, but a low speed cap would be nice. Really fun game though!

Cool idea! I think it can be a little unforgiving, because the levels are so big, making a small error kicks you back to the very beginning, and it can be tedious to climb your way back. I think smaller and more focused levels would work a little better. Checkpoints might help that too.

Gathering animals into a team of different movements creates some interesting opportunities.  Bouncing around on 3 frogs is pretty fun and funny!

Good job!

I agree, looking back I think I would add a respawn point for every set of spikes instead of kill on touch. I'm glad you liked the hectic bouncy run time though! Thank you for playing!

Super great idea! I could see this being a full game if it was polished up and fleshed out and all that

cool game - keep going!

Very cool idea! I feel you could end up with a number of neat movement mechanics for this.

I love how each animal does something very distinct  from the others and after experimenting with them all, love how they all clearly follow very clear physics-based rules. I struggled a bit with some of the aerial movement because of the momentum, but overall was able to finish the game and loved it! Having a score screen at the end of each level is nice feedback too.

The art style is also cute! Great job everyone!
