One of the best game I've ever played :)
The most creative entry I've seen so far in this jam. The game idea is exceptionally brilliant. The artwork is simple but looks really good, and together with the calm and pleasing background music, creates a fantastic atmosphere. Well done! The only issue I found is that I think there could be a more specific explanation of the mechanics of the game. It really took me a while to understand the game mechanics. But anyway, nice job for a 48h work! Had a lot of fun!
Thank you very much \ yeh that's a common feedback . I had no time for collision- tutorial- hardness tweakings as a solo dev haha.
Great game! Nice visuals, music and gameplay mechanics. Pretty original too :)
Thanks bro
Lovely concept! I've seen many two-player games joined by one set of control in this jam, but this circular layout is a nice twist to that idea! Plus, the art style is super slick, minimalistic and elegant. I love that. However, the control layout seems a little awkward, all grouped in the top left of my keyboard. I would have loved to use the arrows keys instead of WASD, for instance. Additionally, I'd say the levels feel small, and I don't mean short. In the sense that there are a lot of things in these small spaces, and make it hard to get a feel for the game, especially in early levels. Also, the music was nice but, like, buffering? Chunking out? But all in all, really cool game!
Thank you very much !
The levels had to be small for this game to work out , tried zillions of iterations on scaling , yeh about controls - it is a matter of 10 seconds to remap the inputs , i assume that'd not affect your rating on this game. Also the music cracks a little sometimes due to some browser incompatibilities and the engine problems.
I hear you. You should be proud! It turned out great for a 48h game jam!
I am a bit confuse with the control. Maybe it is too hard for me, I cannot go pass first 10 second.
it is A, D and SPACE , now i request your second try at the game . Because simply telling confuse with controls is not a good feedback let alone a comment-rate on this page. I hope you rate the game with a better point of view after playing at least 1 third of the levels i have designed, not just your 10 seconds trying to figure out the controls . I also request a better explanation on your problem or I am to delete this comment for sake of the better comments explaining their problems in advance.
Love the idea and the presentation, but it's way too hard for me I'm afraid. Maybe an easy mode where time runs at 75% normal, obstacles are smaller and the satellite isn't chasing you would make it accessible to people like me!
really liked the super mario galaxy like mechanics. it really spices up what else would be an oversaturated idea. it can be bit frustrating at times since the characters are a bit slow but it is a very solid platformer
Thanks!!
It's a nice idea, but it was SO HARD for me. The presentation is very nice, the music and style are very good! Maybe a little improvement with tutorials. Probably put some simple teaching levels first and it's gonna be perfect!
yes some tweakings are required , but i assume game jams are generally about the idea and their executions - so in that point of view , i feel proud of my game . Thank you very much for the feedback !!!
I love the concept! I think is a very unique way to fin in the theme. The aesthetics are impresive too. Great submission!
Beautiful game, but for me it needs lots more tutorialisation. Maybe I was being dumb but I just can't work out the third level (I get to the symbol that's the finish but nothing happens) and with no explanation of what the symbols mean I have no way of knowing what I'm doing wrong. Also, for me, the jumps are unnecessarily precise for the time pressure. The hit boxes on the spikes are very unforgiving.
it's just a bug- just jump twice to hit the symbol , im pretty sure you should see 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th level after passing that 3rd one
it's like the game's very small proportion , I'd definetely appreciate your second try , thanks in advance (it's still amazes me how some people really care and play my game )<3
Thanks! Yes that did solve it! Tried a few more levels and it really does get very good once once you're more confident with the symbols. I still think a bit more tutorialisation would be good and I did still find some of the obsticles a bit unforgiving but it does make for a very good and challenging platformer. I've updated my score now I've played more.
yeh , you are right , tutorialisation and steep leaarning curve is a common feedback , thank you very much for your second try!
Tough early game, but atmospheric mood makes it really engaging
thank you very much , played your game - very polished , smart and well executed
This game is pretty difficult, but I like the concept. The visuals are great, and it is charming. The gameplay itself is fun sometimes, but can often be frustrating on the harder levels. Good job for 48 hours!
Nice game! The learning curve was a bit too steep for my taste (especially without a tutorial), but overall, it seems like a fun little game to play.
I really liked the concept, there are some obstacles that are quite hard, but arrived to the blackscreen, the art is pretty good and the audio complements the game. Keep it up!
Thank you very much amazing to hear these comments
Does it just end with a black screen? I've played some levels and then got just the black screen and the music continuing - I wished for a proper ending!
I've played a lot of dual-character-linked-movement games this jam and I was already a little bit tired of them but this one is exceptional, I've enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful clean, tasteful, minimal graphic design, the smooth and fast reset sequence, the mysterious symbols/sigils that alter my character, the melancholic music that reminded me of sigur ros - all comes together in a powerful experience.
The platforming was a little bit unforgiving and didn't always feel super "good", I'd also love to see the kill zones directly - maybe with a touch of color?
One of my favourite entries in this jam so far.
A very, very unique and cool concept!
I like this cool black-white style and the way you fixed the problem of the player just walking back in the goal with the green thing is just so cool and added on to that it makes the game much more difficult. Another thing are these systems and although the map was so small you put a lot of features in everyone.
The only thing that I would change a little bit is the difficulty, because its a very complex system and also very hard so maybe tweak it just a bit.
Otherwise your game is just brilliant. Well done!
Well done! I enjoyed the "joined together" mechanic where you had to manage two characters through different obstacles. The art also had a really interesting style and the music definitely fit. Overall this was a solid entry to the jam and I enjoyed playing it! :)
Nice game! very well presented, and loved the gameplay, though the coordination is quite hard to get (I'm not that good at it though) congrats!
thank you very much - see my comment on your amazing game page
Really cool mechanic ! The different "power-ups" were not very clear at first glance, but once I got the hang of it, the game was cool ^^ ! Good job !
Thank you very much !
