A very nice match-the-pair game with awesome character designs! I enjoyed it more for the fun of seeing all those different shapes than for the core gameplay mechanic. So sad you can only mingle with the ones that look like you, it'd be such a nice twist if you could also mix with other characters!

Really nice game! The aesthetic is absolutely amazing, that moment when the letters in the title started moving and I realized I'm playing already was beautiful. It was lovely merging characters and getting to see the next one, really great art style and character design.

I think this game is a pretty solid submission. The characters in this game reminded me of the game "Patapon" and the Pokemon "Unknown", which i think that's where the inspiration for the overall design came from.
Really interesting to make the game easier as the player progress. Maybe consider to make it more challenging?

Cheers! Yes we started noticing the Unknown Pokemon vibe shortly into the art and just rolled with it. There's one character that we even tried making look like an Unknown. Good point on the difficulty, thanks for the feedback :)

I adore everything about this game. I saw you post an image of the characters during the jam creation period, and knew in that instant that I needed to hunt this game down and play it, and I was not disappointed. The concept is simple, but the sleek character designs and music and devastating twist all make it worthwhile. Also, I've never seen a more beautiful game page. If there was a competition on just the look of that page, I'm sure you'd win it hands down. Great job!
Thanks for tracking us down! Haha we posted that image at a time when we thought we weren't going to finish because of game breaking bugs, but luckily it all came together 30mins before the deadline!
couldn't' figure out how to play, but I love the art
You need to find another character that looks like you and merge with them. Use WASD or arrow keys to move, and spacebar to merge. Then repeat until all the characters are merged. Instructions are on the itch page, but we hope to add them in-game in an update.
Great art style, love the character designs! Fun concept
Simple concept, fantastically executed. It's the little touches like the small acceleration and the "plop" sound effect that stand out as well. The art style is top notch of course and there's a hard to explain addictiveness about the whole thing.

Good games know how to distill mechanics to simplicity. This game meets that standard well! Honestly the presentation alone is gold for me but the game flow is perfect on top of that. You slowly pick up speed as you narrow the crowd. The game controls take a second to determine if you go straight in, but after that its an enjoyable smooth sail. I love this game!

This is a fun, wacky, and cute little game! It's cool to try to see who you are at the start, and hard but enjoyable to find your mate! Also, I like the ending dialogue.

A fun game, the art style is simple but fits the game great! It would be cool if you could choose to see your time to finish once the game is completed, so you could compete against friends and family!
