That was adorable. I love the aesthetic, reminds me a lot of patapon! I agree the gameplay could use something to keep it fresh, like having to switch between characters and combine different similar shapes to make new matches for others. that being said, it was a very charming experience!
Very cute style, I loved it! I was just sad that there wasn't a deeper gameplay mechanic than just finding the similarly-looking critter though, but still cute :)
very cute. nice clean art style. I regret I didn't play it in full screen the first time,
love the game and the style 10/10
Elegant and cute! 5/5
The highest praise that I could possibly give. Perfection!
You have made a very unique game, but in art style and in gameplay! I enjoyed my time with it! However, it would be nice if the character wrapped around the screen, instead of running offscreen endlessly. But that's just a minor bug! Really nice game!
Thanks! That was definitely on the list of to-do's that we hope to update after the jam.
I was a little confused at the start, but it ended up being a fun relaxing game. I like the minimalistic art style, and while the gameplay was a little repetitive, it still contributed to a relaxing experience.
Cute and charming aesthetics, simple and relaxing gameplay. Pleasing and cool ;)
Too bad the order of "mingles" (?) is the same every time.
Thanks! We thought about randomising (minglets/minglers/mingarinos?), but it was just above our skill level for the timeframe haha
Very good and creative game. Simplicity of this game made it better
Very nice an stylistic game! Gameplay was pretty repetitive, but the presentation of the game is outstanding!
Love the detail on the game page as well. Really great experience!
Super charming! Love the style and the sounds ~
Visuals, animation and sound are all great. The ending was kinda charming. However, there's not much to the gameplay. It is repetitive and it gets easier as it goes. What makes Where's Waldo and I Spy fun is that there's curious stuff to look at everywhere, and it makes me wonder if you could set this little party in a setting where stuff starts off calm but gets more hectic as there are less and less minglers. Just a thought. I finished the game but it would have been very boring if not for your cute characters and sounds.
Thanks for the feedback! Some interesting ideas for us to think about on expanding the idea more.
The art was pleasing to the eye and it was satisfying seeing the canvas slowly declutter. An in-game tutorial would've healped a lot.
LOVE THIS GAME, it's simple, ecstatic, and charming!
Very simple mechanic, but the visual style, animations, sound design and music comes together to create very fun and enjoyable expirience.
So simple, yet so beautiful and emotional.
This game could easily be published for a mobile platform. Great work!
Very cute and visually striking, great character design. Good audio choices. One concern is that the game gets easier the farther you get into it, as the number of potential links decreases. Perhaps to add some challenge put in a time based scoring system, or continue to add more characters into the room as the game continues?
Loved it, really nice presentation, it looks great and the audio fits really nicely. Maybe starting with the character you are first controlling in the middle would make it easier to understand how to play at first but I enjoyed finding all the pairs and the little bit at the end. Well done!
Cheers! Yes, we'll definitely add that in an update along with an in-game tutorial.
i really dig the aesthetic of the game, it's very cute, especially with the pitched crowd sound effects. very well done :)
Loved the art and how the characters starting moving from the start screen.
