Great concept and design. The difficult does ramp up immediately.
Great concept but the difficulty spikes straight off the bat with a frustrating lack of checkpoints. That floor laser right at the screen transition was super mean too :(

I'm sorry! We had some miscommunication with where rooms were starting and that room was supposed to begin from the right! It wasn't intentional I promise.
Love the art and concept! Would have appreciated some checkpoints and possibly some more control as to how many coins I drop at once. Great job overall!

Nice idea, and good presentation
This is pretty good. Though holding down Q while using WASD is really difficult. If that was like half way across the keyboard to be on the other hand, or even just on shift it'd be a lot more comfortable.
I also think I can't proceed at one point cause there's a platform that seems to be solid but doesn't look that way.
The later levels were pretty rushed and we didn't discover the glitched platform until a few minutes after the submission period. Once the rating period is over, we will upload a version that fixes all these issues and changes the coin drop button to be on SHIFT.
Wow, this game is really impressive! The art and music are great and the concept is unique and well-executed! I could go on forever about the good stuff but my main negative about this game is it's rather unforgiving, one single hit of damage takes you right back to the start - which caused me to not finish the game. Overall it's great though!
Oh my goodness, I love the art! That main character design is amazing, and the level around her fits so perfectly! Amazing work on that.
Also, the general gameplay is also very, very good! The jumps feel super satisfying, and the thud you make when you land definitely gives you the impact you want after getting so heavy.

This one has the full package for a game jam; great art style, some nice sound design, and a unique mechanic that ties into the theme nicely! You should be proud of this one, great job!
I absolutely love the art direction for this game. The level design was also fun, although a bit difficult at times. However, it gives a good sense of achievement. I also love how you implemented the theme in a very refreshing way. Looking forward to future updates!
The art style is really off the charts on this one! The concept is very unique, but the best thing about it was the game feel. Feeling heavy after getting the coins was pretty good. In my eyes the level design needs a bit of working, as it's a bit unforgiving and maybe some checkpoints early on would be a good addition. Awesome entry!
Honestly one of the best games I have seen so far. good visuals, with a nice artstyle, good gamefeel, good music and fitting the theme very well
Having the player give up or jeapordize some of their horded wealth is a great mechanic, I did a game myself with something like that some time ago, and players are really strongly conditioned to always collect and never give away :P The movement felt alright, some checkpoints would be wonderful.
Also, a small art note, but my viewers really thought she turned naked half the time, and it almost swerved into NSFW territory, so a few adjustments might be needed there, just to be safe.
It's a really cool main idea. Having to go to the start of the game instead of the start of the level is a bit too punishing, especially when there's traps you fall into right at the start of the third level if you keep moving before the level's fully charged. I loved the feeling of weight the character has when at max coin capacity.
The idea is cool and has potential, but I think some parts of the level design were very unfair. The presentation is very nice, with cool graphics and audio. With some polish on the gameplay area you can have a very cool platformer.
Pretty fun! There are several soft locks where when you don't have enough coins, you are no longer able to continue. I really like the ability to drop coins to make yourself lighter to make certain jumps. Making myself heavier also helped when there were lasers above me. Overall amusing premise. I'd be interested to see your rating of my submission!
Very cool art, music and idea. I got accidentally got softlocked in the first tunnel because i didnt get all 12 coins before I dropped down and cant get back out. Love the fact that the MC sprite changes!
Same feelings as everyone else, checkpoint system. Looks amazing though, love to see polished art like this in a jam that actually means something to the gameplay.

Lead programmer here. I'm seeing a lot of comments regarding the difficulty of the game and the lack of a checkpoint system. Having to start the entire game over again was definitely not planned. We had a checkpoint system in place that broke on us in the last hour of the jam. We apologize for making the game harder than it should be, but we hope you can still enjoy it!
