That was really interesting! I think you should work with difficulty curve, but your game is great! I will be thankful if you give some feedback on our game too!

This game is incredible! It's full of art, content, and I couldn't believe it when I saw the upgrade system! The concept is amazingly well executed and very ambitious for a game jam!

I played till the end and found it be very well balanced, a very clever mix of action and puzzle!

Really really great job!

Developer

thanks for playing and congrats on getting to the end :)

Nice graphics! I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Even though I did not quite get what I did there, it still was pretty fun. Great game!

This game is pretty addicting--probably one of the entries I played the most! It's satisfying to move in a giant blob of heroes, and I like how you need to use the terrain to rearrange them (though my melee fighters always wound up behind everyone else...).

Developer

thanks for playing :)

Hey mate. Some feedback:

-  Don't make the portal look like a new character.

- Please don't instakill/kill in two attacks my character.

- Please don't let unreachable powerups spawn. Furthermore, sometimes level gen forced me to take damage.

- Maybe make the color of the level of the character red so it does not look so much like their HP.

- Maybe also make the HP of the character go vertically after going too much horizontally.

- Some buildings look like walls.

- FRICK SORCERERS. Please nerf them.

- When spawning a new character on late game, I'd appreciate it if they could start with some levels.

Could not beat the game. Fricking sorcerers.

Developer

That's probably the best feedback I've gotten so far, thanks a lot X)

This game is really well done! The graphics are kind of cute and the gameplay is really fun. My only complaint is about visibility. Sometimes the player or the path is behind something and you can't see it. My suggest is to make those parts translucid or to just delete them if they don't affect the game too much. Anyway, congratulations.

Developer

hey, thanks for playing :)
The hidden path part was a bit of design to add some impredictibility :p

Good game and presentation. I tried to run past everyone.

Developer

this is actually a turn by turn strategy game where running past everyone is dangerous but thanks for playing :)

It's amazing how much you've managed to do in 48 hours. Mechanics are polished and fun, pixel art looks great and the music is spot on and on top of that you've managed to cram in a full campaign of levels in here. Awesome experience, congrats :)

Developer

thanks for playing :)

I've had this idea written down on paper for a while, and decided that the GMTK jam was a good time to do it!

Play crazy! Great game! Attacking with a long-range character is a fun experience.

Developer

yeah, long range characters are a bit overpowred (or maybe short range characters are underpowered) I might balance things in a future post-jam version!

Once I understood the mechanics (and ended up with the angel instead of the robot as a first character), this was a blast! How does the generic human work, though? Does it attack at all, or is it just a weak meatshield?

Character variety and roguelike elements makes this game super addicting. My only complain is that it's very difficult to see what your character's individual ranges are. When I first played the game, I couldn't figure out at all what the robot's attack range was and just ended up using the dog for the most part. It's also tough to see the enemy's range, too. Makes it overall difficult to plan your moves in advance, but this concept was nonetheless super sick!

Developer(+1)

hey, thanks for playing :)

The generic human (intern) starts with no attack and very low stats but gets immensely powerful as you level him up!

Finally got around to playing this. Great job Adrien and team! Good game in all 3 categories

Put me in that classic predicament where I had so many allies that I got careless and lost too many at once. Never quite recovered from that, but it turned it into a totally different game suddenly.

Developer

thanks for playing :) This game has dynamic difficulty and it does change a lot depending on how good you're playing!

I didn't know what I was doing for most of the time (aside from moving and attacking randomly XD), but it seems like a well polished game. Nicely done!

Developer

thanks for playing :)

I love the sound and aesthetics of the game. A clean and polished entry for the jam :)

I really love this game! Just look at it!

It looks gorgeous, it sounds gorgeous, it plays gorgeous!

I cannot comprehend how you did so much art and variety during 48h jam :O

Developer

that's the beauty of working in a 3-person team :p
I spent basically 12 out of 30 or so hours on level generation, and my artist and composer were pumping out art and music non stop X)

Im still impressed ;)

I loooooved this game, such a creative take on the theme, and gives me Chrono Trigger vibes a bit. The character designs are fun, and managing all of them while trying to take out all of the enemies is fun to try to wrap your head around. Super impressive that this was done in the scope of a jam. Great work!

Developer

thanks a lot for playing :) This is an idea I've wanted to make for quite a while!

cool, died quickly to the boss :(

Developer

Boss is hard ._.

The game is incredible I love the soundtrack and the overall aesthetic of the game which is just incredible how many different levels you could create in only 48 hours. Overall amazing entry and very well done.

Developer

There are about 10 different level types, most of them are procedurally generated so I could save some time!

Absolutely amazing game and i cont even imagine how you made this in 48 hours! Totally loved it 12/10 score

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing :) this is actually an idea I've had for a very long time so I spent nearly no time putting the base engine together, most of my jam time was spent on level generation X)

You did a very good job by implementing so much individual charakters in your submission.

At some point in the game i had a knight who was so overpowerd, that he actually beat the whole game by himself. I also was very confused that the walls are two tiles big, so i didn't always see what was hiding behind them. The effect of this was that i couldn't strategically think through my moves and walk in one direction in the hope that it was the right decision.

However i think you put a lot of work into this game and it was worth it. Great job.
