Good Job ;-)
Hey, nice game! I got the Katamari reference from the first block I picked up haha. Just a small comment: on your screenshots I see some textures on the attached cubes, but when I played it, they were all white (I played the macOS version).
Congrats for your submission!
Thanks for trying my game, you are the first to report a gameplay from macOS! I will check the texture issue after the jam, thanks !
The game is interesting. However, while joining the cubes together my FPS dropped drastically and it was hard to play after that
Awesome visual overkill! The game play is nice as well, though I played it on a potato with low frame rate, so I probably didn't quite experience the dynamic game play as intended (is it too much to ask for graphics quality settings?). Sometimes I found it hard to estimate distances (will my jump land on the blocks?) or shoot directions.
Thank for your comments, definitely the graphics level settings is the first fix I will do after the Jam :-)
Pretty cool! I’m all for this insane level of shaders and effects, it looks really cool :D
Very interesting idea! The experience of playing this game is so enjoyable! Graphics are maybe too much, i think that more cartoonish graphics could be a better option but this is not even near to be bad. Congratulations!
Very nice, artistically inspired game! Technical grudge is that shot cubes aren't nocollided with all of the other ones, making it dead on arrivial.
thanks for trying it. Not sure I understand the technical grudge? Do you mean If you shoot to free cube that will destroy them ?
Like, when you use LMB to release a cube, it will just select a random one meaning it's very possible for it to crash into one of the many other cubes in your control. Thus, it would help to nocollide them with eachother.
Oh yes you right , thanks for pointing that bug out !
Really fun game! The controls are super smooth, it feels really good to fly around and collect the cubes!
Also the visuals are really nice, super pleasing to look at! Great job!
thanks for trying it and for the nice comments !
Beautiful looking game. Got kind of laggy when I got a lot of blocks, but it felt like Katamari Damacy with combat and that's an amazing thing.
Pretty fun game,
I wish the game wouldn't end when you kill all the enemies, it would of been nice to have multiple waves so you can keep playing.
Nothing much to say, the controls and physics are pretty smooth and the idea is pretty cool
good idea for the multiple way, that will be part of my next update!
I can say the game is fun without the shooting or flying. I should of read the controls first! Very fun after the shooting/flying is added. Looks great. Excellent work!
Nice one! When I saw the screenshots I was hoping it would be a Katamari kind of game and it was. Very well made - it only got very laggy on my computer the more bricks I collected, but apart from that it was a lot of fun!
I liked the game, really interesting.
amazing 3D shape and render, the sound is pretty satisfying, and nice idea for collecting things for the shooter, fun game!
It was really fun to be able to go around and assimilate with all the cubes! Especially as you get bigger and bigger and suck up more cubes. All the effects looked really nice and it was cool to machine gun down the enemy blobs at the end.
What a neat little game, you obviously put a lot of work into the art and movement! I'd love more levels, this feels like it could turn into a cool dystopian action-adventure game with a story and some extra abilities.
thanks for playing it and I like the idea to make it as a story base ans add possible hability to upgrade with.
Really nice game overall, the ball looks really great up close around cubes. Bonus point for the menu and restart option. It's a full fleshed game, from start to finish. GG !
I love the idea of Katamari but firing the stuff you grab. Puts a cool twist on the genre.
This art style is so calming and unique. These physics are amazing for just 48 hours.
What a cool and zen game. The sounds, colors, lighting and music all created a really beautiful mood. I spent a bit of time dodging the enemies and enjoying it but then remembered I could shoot and even that was beautifully done. Great entry!
Thanks for that really nice comment, I'm glad you try it and had a good time!
