How does your game fit the theme?
The player controls 2 entities that can defend themselves only when united. Separated, they are resource-gathering mobile units; united, they become a static gun that can shoot.

very good art and good gameplay had fun playing it with my bro
I'm glad! The game feels far funnier when played together
Nice artwork and music! Feeling real nostalgic!
Very interesting interpretation of the theme as well :D
Art, polish and game feel is through the roof! F*cking amazing.
But while the game mechanics seem very interesting, I don't really feel like it comes together too well.
I think it's mainly that controling two players at the same time in such an intense scenario is just too much.
Still solid overall!
What a breathtaking comment! Thank you for your kind words and the feedback. I realized how intense it is to control 2 players at the same time too late xD
Really great game! The art is absolutely phenomenal, the sounds are great, the game feels super polished!
Amazing job!
Nice job ! the music is catchy and the concpet of gathering two different ressource for shooting is well thought.
I think this concept has legs! I agree with the commenter on the game page that the best strategy seems to sort of counter the idea, just running around with both characters to collect health together. That said, as I started to get better at controlling the characters, I was able to separate them to collect things in parallel more efficiently. I think making that feel more necessary or rewarding would work well -- giving more time in the interludes and then removing the pickups during the fighting period, maybe? I also didn't like health being tied to the ammo -- it's an interesting idea, but made the vulnerability curve less fun: instead of having two separate danger states with different tradeoffs (high health, low ammo / low health, high ammo), there's only one. I think having a regular health bar would work better there. Overall, cool idea, and was pretty fun!
Thank you for your detailed feedback! The idea of removing the pickable objects during battle is a good one. Initially, I designed the game to be like that. However, then I switched between how difficult I want the game to be and stuck to the materials spawning despite the easiness of obtaining them. These are some good ideas you suggested!
Love the artwork. The gameplay was wracking my brain trying to control two characters at the same time and then switching over to the mouse to aim. I liked the concept and would love to see some improved controls. I think that would go a long way.
Thank you for pointing these things out, it is very helpful to know about that. Thanks for playing!
Interesting concept with very good art :)
I like this concept of [separate -> collect], [join -> shoot] pattern. The screen shakes, SFX and animation are all very great! The controls might be an area for improvement. Having to constantly shift my right hand between mouse and arrow keys was pretty stressful, maybe the bone character can use a different movement control scheme? Anyways, one of the most polished I have played so far, good job!
The art is great, the music is great, the concept as a whole is interesting. I didn't play it with somebody else, but I bet it would be a fun two player game. Nice work.
This has to be my favourite one yet! Great job, very original. The art is super cute and I looooove the music.
Good job Ivess!
this was very challenging, but i kept at it, loved the fact that you told me how many where in the next wave, so i can prepare wisely, art was amazing! and the sounds as well! great job
My pleasure! Thanks for playing!
This was so good! The music and art fit really well together and it was very smooth. Took me a minute to realize you couldn't move when you're together which is my fault for not reading the description. The mechanic is really fun, but switching from keyboard to mouse was pretty hard to do in a crunch. Overall very fun and polished.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed your time playing it, it means a lot!
The game would be better if I have a motive to join the two character, because if I shoot or tank the enemies the materials spend is the same(sorry english). But really fun congratz on your game.
You are right. The price for receiving damage is the same as what you pay to kill them, so there is basically no motivation to kill them besides the screen shake.
Anyways, thanks for playing and for your feedback!
