Very nice and fun game!!
When i initally played it i didn´t get it, but when i saw your comment on my game i decided to play it again and it´s actually great! :D
Love it!
At first it was a bit hard to understand how everything worked, but once you get it it’s so fun.
Really interesting game with lots of place to grow in case you ever make this into a bigger game. Great job!
Nice! I like the ambiance. The level design was solid and the mechanic was unique. I think this fit the theme really well and I would love to see it get more developed!
Great job!
Really good and unique mechanic!
The game is really hard but satisfying when you hook it up. I definitely appreciate the checkpoints. The song fits the atmosphere really well.
It reminds me a bit of dark souls.
Congrats on making an awesome game!
Pretty interesting idea! I like the bloody head!
I really like the mechanic of the head and body and how it can be used to navigate the map. I would like to see more to do though. There was a bit of exploration which is nice but no enemies or collectables.
This game is absolutly beatifull! I loved the mechanic very much and had a lot of fun playing the game.
Fantastic work!
Incredible concept and execution! loved the presentation
Thank you so much!
Really great game! You've done a great job with the stretch-join mechanic, and your level design is really perfect for getting to know it.
Amazing art and very fresh idea for the concept! Had a lot of fun playing this one, really nice work!
I love the concept, art and audio. This could totally be a full game on its own with a bit more polishing! Well done!
Amazing game !!!
Love the mechanics, quite challenging but once I got the hang of the controls the rest was... well still pretty hard but I managed to beat the game.
The graphics, the music and the atmosphere gave me a really nice hollow knight vibe that I simply loved.
Thanks for sharing this awesome creation with us, my only feedback would be to find a better key binding to make the controls les painful LOL. It would be amazing to play it with a gamepad but other than that amazing job !!!
Thanks for the kind words! <3
Could you elaborate on what you disliked about the controls so I can fix them more easily?
Loved the game, I saw it in a stream the other day but I did't catch the name, good you found my game and commented on it! I liked the fast respawn, it made the deaths more bearable, but it allowed me to move before the text was gone. The sound effects are great too! One bug that I found is that if I die in the first challenge I skip one checkpoint.
The game is great and the difficulty is okay, but I was not able to figure out how to pass that part with the spikes and acid right in front of the respawn, I have zero idea on what I could try there.
Thanks so much Gustavo
Theser some good catches that need fixing! (I'll hire you as QA ;))
The part you didn't figure out is visual problem I think. You can boost yourself up and land on the spikes connected than you can walk through under the rocks. But there is a decorative asset that makes it seem like you wouldn't fit underneath it.
Really fun concept! I think if you tightened up the controls a bit more you'd have a really great game on your hands (: Also the art is really nice
Thanks for the kind feedback, Sus3!
Do you feel like a particular thing in the controls need improvement the most?
This game REALLY is great. One of the most polished and artistically beautiful I've been able to try. It uses a couple of mechanics that I have already seen in other games of the jam but in a much more solid and varied way. It's a great job, I trust it will make it into the top100
Thank you so much, I hope you are right! :)
This game is SO COOL. What a unique concept that is done *so* well. A couple things too that I appreciated - "You tried" is so polite and encouraging, and the little adorbz smiley on the slime was everything. Honestly fantastic submission all around. :D
:D thank you !
OMG!! This reminds me a project I am working on with a headless executioner! It is called Guillotine (you can find it on my itch.io!!!
I love the grim ambient and the graphics are nice! The gameplay looks difficult at first but you have created a really cool step by step tutorial. I WANT MORE LEVELS! I hope that you will continue the game!
Is similar to Bionic Commando but faster and darker! :D
Good job!
Thank you :)
Interesting, I'll check those games out later :)
Really underrated submission. The games concept is amazing!
The overall presentation somehow reminded me of the game "Hollow Knight", which is really really nice. Even if you didn't make the music yourself, it goes so well with this game.
The gameplay mechanic just fits the jams theme so well. I only had problems a few times, when i wanted to launch my knight back, i got stuck on edges if the angle didn't fit that well. Despite that i had so much fun with the gameplay and you did a very good job with the difficulty level.
Overall i think this is a amazing game. Great job. Really wanted to see more.
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Good point, I wish I made some of the collision boxes rounded!
Oh man this is fantastic! Really dig the atmosphere you captured (rocking that hollow knight inspiration I see haha) the feel of the game is just really good, the sound fx of the armor and that little screenshake when it lands in particular really sell it being heavy and solid. The core mechanic is quite cool, but, the ways you implemented it are what really sell it, using it to launch the armor into the air and drag it along while you platform through small tunnels with the head are excellent.
I would really love to see more from this concept, expanded upon and developed out further. Great work!
Thanks you so much <3
