nice game.
Simple, clean, and effective. Very nice!
Simple idea but a very fun game! Good work!
Best I can do is -1392. Maybe you can add some limiters on how low the score can go.
I like it! Really well done! Seems like it could be transformed into a crazy hectic rhythm game in the future.
Interesting take on the theme, best I can do is 2764. I like how the herd gives you a heads up about what you're supposed to do next!
High score was 1733! Well done game, though I do think having to stay in a line you can already see kinda undercuts the typical endless runner mechanics.
Saw your game on the discord channel! Cute little game, like the increasing music. The mechanic is very simple, but presented and telegraphed to the player very well. My highscore was 2534.
cool, reminded me of an earthworm! nice job!
Nice game, liked it a lot! Got to about 2700, couldn’t beat that further :D The game could be a very nice rhythmic one if the music was synchronized exactly with the times you should press up/down, this would probably improve the experience. Anyways, good job!
Nice! Didn't know the controls at first so I instantly smashed into the 1st green block (that's on me)
On little piece of feedback is I'd consider changing the color of player cube to a contrasting color so it's easier to stand out when the game picks up speed. All in all it's a fun game!
Thank you! I did worry about excluding hues or calculating colors that stood out more, but in the end I atleast should've put an black outline around each square or something to pop them out from it.
Now that I think about it it wouldn't have been that bad to let people use W and S as well as Up and Down either 😂
Really addicting and fun game!
This game is addicting! After several attempts, I managed to get to 3652. I really like how the song tempo increases as the game gets faster, that's a really nice touch. You did an awesome job!
Amazing, new high score; I'll add it to the desc right away! And thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Really fun, I played it many times! I agree with the apple commenter, and I also think it would be improved with an emphasis on rhythm with music. 9/10 jam game though!
I love it!!
Fun game, and a creative take on the theme. I think some sort of reward for doing a perfectly timed dodge would really improve the game too. In any case, this was fun!
Great suggestion! I do think focusing on mechanics that provide instant feedback should be a priority in the future.
Really cute! its just a lot of fun to look at, even if the mechanics are simple. Feel like this could make a great rhythm game template :D
Thank you! I'd love to turn this into a rhythm game!
We like the concept, too. like nekiwo said it has a lot of potential. We could imagine to spawn the obstacles in sync to beat. Higher notes could go up a line and lower notes down. So one yould remember the melody to know what happens next. Nice music and clean design. 🙂
Thank you! I do think if I were to push this to a full game my first instinct would be to try and sync it all to a beat; it seems like it'd lend itself to rhythm really well.
Wow what an interesting concept! It's kinda easy right now but I think it has a ton of potential. I would not be surprised to see in the top 100
Fun game with low learning curve and nice theme :)
Fun game, love the sound design!
Thank you! That means a lot to me actually.
