Really impressive! This is one of those team jam games that came together extremely well over an ambitious idea that could only succeed if everyone pulled their weight and knew what they were doing, so fantastic job :)
The only thing I can suggest is making more, polishing up the UI, and aiming to release a mid-length game, if you all do want to continue it post-jam. It seem you know what you're doing and I'd love to see this carried on!
Great job to everyone on the team!
Best game I played in this GameJam!!
Being an avid fan of both Chess and Fire Emblem, I must say that this was amazing! Favorite game I have played so far. Please make this a full game.
Great game, it was fun learning the movement patterns, and the art on the characters was really impressive!
Great game! I really liked the double moment options and chess inspired gameplay! Great game and good luck on the game jam! ♋︎
I always have hard times in creating art styles l like this. You did a pretty good job on this art style and the gameplay suits it very well too
Extremely well done! I love the Fire Emblem vibes, character art, and it plays super well as a puzzle! This was a really clever take on the theme, and feels like it could be easily expanded upon. :) One small suggestion would be to make it a bit more clear which piece was "moving" and which was "attacking", as I sometimes got confused thinking that I should be able to go somewhere when I actually couldn't.
Awesome game!
Fantastic game! The concept is really interesting, with the art and audio really well done too. I think the game has a lot of potential to be developed on, great job!
Awesome game! Art and animation is awesome, the concept is great! congrats!
Once I understood how it worked it was awesome, each level is a puzzle! I have a few UI gripes but that's to be expected for a jam game.
That was charming, I really like the idea and execution. Good job!
Great level design! The piece-pairings allow for a lot of variety while keeping to a small cast! Great game overall! Thank you for the experience!
Man I'm litteraly amazed by how qualitative is this game, still can't believe it's been done in 48h :o
I comment a second time just cause this game will be part of the top 50 and I announce it now
Was excited to see this one and I sure am not disappointed. Good job
Sooo good, had a super good time with this
Nicely done. Very impressive presentation for just 48 hours!
Wow! Awesome game art and overall well-polished game! Although it was hard to pick up at first (a small tutorial would be awesome), it was a lot of fun afterward! Great job!
Wow!!!
I really want this as a full game, the game mechanic was definitely a bit confusing at first...
I loved seeing pawn and queen tag team like that too, opens a lot of interesting character interaction tied with gameplay.
A tutorial would definitely cover the games repercussions... But wow!! Please persue this in the future :))
The pixel art attack animations are insane! Saw them popping up on discord a couple of times, glad I found the game! :)
It took me a while to get my mind wrapped around the concept, but once I did the strategy was fun.
The high point for me though was definitely the visuals. The characters and sprite animations looked amazing! That's a lot of work for 48 hours
