Cute game! Interesting idea, I liked it.
One of the most polished game of the Jam? And 3D too? super impressive stuff! A great game all around. Fun gameplay, amazing presentation and an original take with a usage of a known "concept" in a novel way. Do wish there was a to get a Box(?) back. Mess up early on and its hard more till you die.
Also, "Play" vs "Play skip the tutorial", is genius design. Will steal xD
Incentivises not skipping the tutorial in a weird psychological way. Or maybe i"m over thinking things.
Great game all around!
We where speaking about a regain mechanic, where coins would give back boxes, but we didn't have time to implement it :'(
Loved this! Graphically it's me most cute thing ever, but also it has its own personality! Love how the wall has that evil face :P Also, I like how you helped the player be aware that one of the blocks is going to get hit with the ground square patterns and the scare faces of the cubes.
All in all, a great entry!
Wow thanks a lot!! ^^ So nice to read comments like this! :)
Very interesting concept and amazing presentation! I love how it plays, I only wish at times I can move the goal faster towards the cubes haha. But great job, a lot of fun to play!
You can do that with the Right Mouse button ! :D It was in the tutorial part ;)
Very cute! I really like how they get scared when about to get hit :D. Well done!
Thanks a lot! ^^
Thanks for letting me play your game! Some comments:
Overall, really fun & good job!
Well thank you ^^ Happy to read this! :D Gonna give your game a go! :)
I kept eyeballing this game wondering if I wanted to try it, but im glad I finally did! It is so cute and well polished, especially for just 48 hours. Good work guys! I hope to see you guys make more levels!
Thanks for the sweet words! :D So many good things have been made in 48 hours! Hard to play everything right! If the feedback keeps so positive we might take this to the next level, more modes, maybe even coop, .. :D
Seriously though! I have been having so much fun playing all of the games that it is hard to choose what to play at this point. I really do hope you guys decide to make more levels, I think a coop could be really cute and fun too! You guys defiantly have something really sweet and fun going here. <3
This game is exceedingly cute and is super easy to understand really love it great work!
Aww thank you! ^^ Happy that you enjoyed it! :)
So cute game. I enjoyed this!
Glad to hear that you liked it!^^
Really nice work, polished, fun, and kind of addictive. Really good work for a 48h time frame.
Thank you very much!^^
The art in this game is unbelievably adorable! Even the angry wall face is cute, and the scared faces work as a great warning to the player.
My one complaint is that how to get the blocks to actually stick together wasn't immediately obvious to me for the first few rounds. However, once I picked it up, the game became incredibly addictive! I got a high score of 42. I think this could be my favourite game of the jam! Good job!
So happy to read comments like this! :D Happy you enjoyed it so much! ^^
Cute art style, very unique mechanic, love that everything has eyes, the menu, the boxes, the board.
Well done!
We where like the wall should have eyes too! Maybe be even should've given the lollipops in the background some eyes! :D
This game is really cute and polished. I love the concept, just wish it was a little faster at the beginning. Other than that it is amazing.
Thank you for you comment! :D Yeah maybe the RMB should be explained at the first wall! :')
I really how the game looks and sounds, and it's very polished! The game can probably start out a little bit faster, and/or maybe include the right click instruction a screen or two earlier. Still, it's good that you have the option to skip that in the main menu. Overall, great job!
Thanks a lot!:) The tutorial is indeed kinda slow untill you know about the RMB :') Glad you enjoyed it!:)
This is so cute, and it has really nice polish and game feel for a 48 hour jam. I had a lot of fun playing this. I also found myself trying to click on different jellies while I had one already selected. I wish it was possible to switch selections directly instead of having to deselect first. If you had time to expand on this concept, it would be cool if coins had some purpose - maybe buying back lost jelly friends or even buying new ones with different powers. It would also allow for higher difficulty as you gained more jellies to position before the wall arrives. Those are just small nit picks and suggestions on a really fun game though! Really well done.
Thanks for the feedback! :) We where talking about a way to regain cubes with coins, for example every couple of coins give you a 'life' which wil automatically regain you a cube when you lost one. Maybe even going over the 4 cube cap, but we have to test that, because that's even more to manage! :D Well check it out after the jam! ^^ Gonna check your game in a second! :)
What a cute game ^^
Thanks a lot! :D I will play yours in a bit! ^^
nice game and cute art style.
Thank you! ^^
I really love the art style! The little boxes are so CUTE!
The gameplay is super satisfying, really fun to try and nail the shape just right.
Awesome work, I really enjoyed it! :)
Awww! Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
This reminded me of that one japanese game show where the contestants had to fit in an incoming wall with a cutout that would get increasingly absurd. Besides all the input bugs (which are understandable for a game jam) I liked this game. I especially like the coin mechanic which makes the player try some risky strategies that might end up costing them a piece. I would suggest that the wall patterns changes when you are down to 3 cubes to be more restrictive since it didn't seem like I would get any 3 block sized patterns.
Thanks for the comment! :) Yeah bugs are sadly a thing :'( And no at the moment we only have random wall designs that always have coins for 3 and for 4 blocks, maybe we should indeed change the layout to still get all the coins if you only have 3 blocks! Gonna discuss it with the team! ^^
Gameplay seemed glitchy for me, selecting/unselecting wasn't very responsive and jumping too.
Thanks for you comment, if you want to unselect a box, you need to click anywhere but on the selected box, because that will select it again.
