How does your game fit the theme?
In “Until We Meet Again” players use a combination of joining and breaking chains of RINGS to create a system that sorts and filters a random group of shapes. The organised shapes need to then be re-grouped on specific RINGS (marked with rockets) order to clear the level and send the aliens home! We're aware there are logic issues that were unresolved by the end of the jam - we were unable to resolve them design-wise at that time and we understand it can feel unintuitive. I would suggest that if you're stuck (ish) that you reset the level as it's much easier to clear from a clean level.

This was absolutely fantastic. Really stellar work on the puzzle design and gameplay.
Damn I love this game, it's a really good idea really well executed! Well done!
This is awesome! I spent a lot of time playing it it's really fun and chill. I think there's an issue on one of the later levels where it's wanting red squares but they never spawn? Also I dunno if the "detaching resets the link" thing is the best as it means it's really hard to correct and it's better to just restart the level. Perhaps that's the intention making it like once you commit to a placement you have to go with it? But yeah this could easily be tidied up and released it's great!
Yeah I don’t think the resetting on disconnect is the best option at all - I think we have a way forward with the logic now though >.<
trying to solve the level once the shapes have become ‘dirtied’ is basically impossible - good eyes! Thanks for playing :)
I don't know if I was playing the right way, but I certainly had fun interacting with the world your team created. I think some tutorial would be great so that it would be easier to figure out what is going on.
In any case, even without the tutorial I still had a blast just looking at the beautiful visuals and hearing the feedback from the game. Great job!
I really like the visual style you're going for. The game design is quite interesting. It's a bit tricky making sure things are joined/separated, a few times when you drop it they will not connect, a few times when you think they will not connect they do...
Thanks so much! Yeah the system needs a considerable more amount of polish for it to react as the player expects it to - but post jam we've thought about it and have a solution now.
It's really hard at first, but once you figure things out, it's still really hard because of all the bugs and inconsistencies.
The polish is amazing though
Haha, yeah I totally get you . The inconsistancies need to be ironed out for it to be a fully controllable system :S :S
I like the concept and the art very much.
Well done.
Thank you!! :)
Great Idea, but it was really hard to ling up all of the colors and shapes. This game seems to be one to play when you want to calm down, but unfortunately it jus stresses me. I hope you can improve the game after the jam because I really like the concept would really like to play this game outside of the jam.
The concept is incredible! However, it gets really hard because the screen is so small (fullscreen didn’t work for me in web version), and I kept misclicking and accidentally connecting rings that I didn’t suppose to, ruining the level. It would also be cool to have some way of directing the movement, so that the shapes would transition from one ring to another but not in the other way. Anyway, the idea is cool, good job!
Thank you! After the feedback from everyone we finally figured out where we went wrong with the design - there should be directionality to the filter because it makes the controls a little wonky, so your suggestion of having a direction is right on the money! I think it basically solves all/most of the problems we created in this concept and hopefully maeks 'misclicking' less painful and less likely. Thanks for the feedback!
Nice concept, it's like filtering in Excel, but more pleasantly :D
Quite a simple concept but the way it worked blew my mind! Great art style.
Thank you :) Wish we had a tad bit more time to refine the mechanic but I'm glad it entertained!
Cute visuals and good choice of sound effects. I like the mechanics and the idea of the game :)

Thanks so much! [I really need better onboarding if you got stuck on B, oops... lol]
The mellow guitar in the background is really relaxing. Picking up and placing the different rings feels hefty and satisfying (both in animation and sound design)
This is a really chill and aesthetically pleasing game to play, I really enjoyed the game and the music fits perfectly :D
This is a great puzzle idea - a bit hard to pick up, but really satisfying once you understatnd the concepts.
Very satisfying and soothing. Lovely music, design, and concept. Occasionally frustrating, but that's how you know your brain is working. The little physics pile-ups were a little bothersome, and I felt like there could be more space to work with, especially the levels with more circles. Loved it!!
Definately agree!! There was a period where we were considering having the physics pileupes as part of the 'expreience' but we didn't end up leaning into it (so they're just sad remnants of an older design now) but they sure as heck made the system more flexible and easy to complete in the time period. (but yes the game feels like its working best when you dont have the pileups)
Love the concept! It was a lot of fun trying to figure out the right way to filter the shapes and colors. Amazing work! Hope you had as much fun making it as I did playing it
While how it worked was a bit confusing at first, this game becomes quite fun once you dive in! I love the minimal style here and the music oh wow it was so relaxing after 48 hours of intense jamming! Great work!
Haha, thanks for spending wind-down time on our game :) There are DEFINATELY some things with the logic that haven't been quite ironed out yet, so honestly its confusing even for me sometimes haha...
Great art style and calming gameplay! Has a sort of Mini Metro vibe.
Very very mini metro :P
When I moved the big circle clicking on the center it reset the level. I would fix that, but otherwise the concept and the art are amazing!
