Weird game. Fun, but weird game. I think there's some issues with the collision detection, since I managed to clip with the weight through things I assume were intended to be solid (the giant monster thing and the black text in that one part). It was still fun, though. It leaves me wanting to see more of it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, we wanted to make sort of a glitched physics and came up with the weight following the mouse position + the inverted impulse to oppose the motion. Apparently, it is not the best way, so we are revising the physics after jam. Let's see if it improves :D

Submitted(+1)

Man, I don't like it when that happens especially when the owner thinks I am a virus and tries to erase me like in the classic 3D animated show "Reboot". ;P

Developer

Thanks for checking out :D

Hey this was a pretty cool game, the idea of being trapped in a computer is neat! one feedback i would give is whenever I would move it was really janky and sometimes hard to control. but i had tons of fun with the puzzles

Developer

Thanks a lot, we are pleased to bring joy!

Yeah, we tried to make a sort of glithy physics, but many people find it shaky, so I'm revising it. Let's see how it would look like after jam :-)

Submitted(+1)

I was a bit unsure at first, but I was quickly drawn in by the narrative. Really nice work, would love to see more!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying this out!

Submitted

It was my pleasure!

OMG this is so trippy and even a bit creepy, I can't even tell is the ball glitched - the current version kinda feels like a good match to that crazy(?) computer character. This is built so well too.

Developer

Thanks a lot! Trippy and creepy - that exactly what we wanted the game to be :D

This is such an original Idea and well excecuted. It took me some time to figure out the final puzzle.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, maybe we need to revise the hints from antivirus so it's more clear.

Submitted(+1)

Awesome! This took me back some decades ;)

Developer

Oops, missed your comment... Thanks for playing! Yeah, a little portion of nostalgy to the jam's feed :D

Submitted(+1)

This was a cute little game! It took me a while to figure out the final puzzle, (I had to check the comments to figure out what to do), but I enjoyed the brief story and different levels! The idea of the weight was cool, and it definitely felt genuinely heavy when you had to drag it across the map. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Hi there! Antivirus hints at what needs to be done at the end, but maybe we need to make it a bit more clear. Let's see if we can play with lines after jam :D

Thanks for playing!

I loved the graphics for the game! The LN parody title was pretty funny and I liked how the chain was made of 1s and 0s. The mechanics were pretty cool (though like everyone else the physics were kinda wonky). Maybe you can add some sort of weight that the ball needs to go on too for the puzzles. Loved the cut scenes, good work guys!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Good eye to notice 1s and 0s in chain and reference to LN title! There is also reference in bosses' names ;)
Yeah, physics is the hardest part here, as it needs to work against you, but still be sort of plausible. We will test few ideas after jam. Cheers!

Submitted(+1)

@idlebum game idea was cool but I found the chain a little buggy, but I know its a minor fix, good job man :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! We are going to rewrite physics after jam, hopefully it proves more polish :D

Submitted(+1)

This game was super trippy, haha, well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Submitted(+1)

Oh, that was really sick! can't say anything about it!
Should we lose at the end? I mean is this intentionally؟

Developer

Actually, you can win if you somehow break the chain and follow instruction from antivurus :D

Submitted(+1)

I broke the chain but after that the "You Lose" text showed me!

Developer(+1)

The idea is that PC itself is mad at you, so try to shut it down to win :D

Submitted(+1)

It was a lot of fun, a little quirky.  Reminds me of Pony Island.  The title alone is hilarious.  I feel like this could be developed more into a full game of someone fighting against the system they have been imprisioned in!  Fantastic work!

Developer

Thank you so much besto friendo :D

Very interesting beggining, original and surprising

Developer

Cheers!

You were pretty creative with chaining your mouse to a weight! The art also fit the glitchy and random aesthetic of the game quite well and the levels were well made! I think you already know about this but the physics of the weight is quite weird when you try to move it around, there were times when I just phased through walls. I should also mention the intro is nicely put together and the story was great!

Developer

Thanks for mentioning the intro, we love it too :D
Yeah, we have some thoughts about physics, let's see if it works out!

Submitted(+1)

The controls are very strange and hard to control, but I loved the style !

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! We think to reconsider physics after jam - make it more user-friendly, but keep it a little bit glitchy... Something like that :D

Submitted(+1)

This game does so much right! Really enjoying the aesthetic and narrative.

Really smooth animations and effects. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

I enjoyed playing this one, I think there might be more story lurking around in it than I saw so will definitly be giving it another go!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Right, there are many references :-)

Submitted(+1)

This story reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on it.

Great game, much story <3

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

This looks like a really cool idea, but it doesn't seem to be working right?

Clicking and dragging the ball and chain is incredibly glitchy, the ball flies everywhere, and I'm glitching through walls. I don't think I beat the levels right at all.

And I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do when the timer is counting down?

The graphics and art look nice, and it looks like a neat concept, but idk if it's functioning correctly.

Developer

Thanks for your post! We wanted the physics to be a bit glitchy, as that's the overall ambience of the game, but surely it could be improved. Will try to smoth it after voting period :D

As for last scene... you need to break of the chain before time goes out to survive. Try anything you expect from a usual pointer.

Submitted(+1)

Ok I went back and right clicked haha I won.

And I see, I thought maybe it was intentional but it didn't come off as like fake glitchy, it came off as real glitchy lol.
